Star Wars Spectacular vs Club Villain

Hi everyone

I'm going to WDW in late September (Sept 24 - Oct 3), and it seems the only day there's the Star Wars Spectacular is on Sept 24. However, it also appears that there's the Club Villain event that day.

Can it really be accurate that those two things overlap and does that mean no SWS for us, unless we attend Club Villain? Or did I misunderstand something?

Club Villain is an event in a building. The park is open as normal (as will SWS be too) - it's just that there will be people who have paid a silly amount of money inside a building off Sunset Blvd.

I love the concept for Club Villain but I wish the prices weren't so expensive.

I don't see the SWS listed after 9/24, unless I'm missing it. I sure hope they are going to extend it-we will be there the following week and have been excited about this for months!
