Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I don't mind mini-lands. Not everything has to be in a large expansion. That's a relatively new occurrence. They used to just build a ride and open it. WDSP is getting some great rides. Hopefully they don't dial it back like they did at DHS.
I really wish they would add more rides to ,DHS and a e-ticket that is not in any of the parks .

AP and CM previews for Rise of the Resistance.
According to the 11/25/19 Jim Hill show "Disney Dish" - in January/February 2020, there will be special events just for the APs and just for the CMs. (#SWGEFL) He spoke with his Imagineering contacts about this.
There's just not enough time to so it before the actual opening. This will be a "make up event" for them

We can all thank Harry Potter on this recent trend. We can also see how Disney is sort of copying Universal's IP themed lands designed theme parks (i.e. Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Despicable Me, Simpsons, etc.).

Cutting it close like Toy Story Land. Make-up events are only worthwhile if the attraction is slammed.

The fear of ‘god’ has been put into all the Edge/studios cast to where they won’t even discuss their schedules with anyone to not be the one that leaks anything because they know eyes are everywhere- a poster on another boards kid is a Edge CM and couldn’t even get her kids schedule from them for opening week.

I am laughing so hard over that anecdote! It's hysterical! 🤣

It's just a theme park, and yet they act like it's a top secret Titan II missile installation. The cubicle bosses seem to make it so hard on themselves and their CM's by getting so stressed out over a theme park, and pretend like they are doing the Lord's work in saving lives instead of just running a theme park.

So because I have the ability to step back and enjoy a fun Thanksgiving week, I'm going to just wander away from this thread for the next week and make myself a Mimosa on this sunny & crisp afternoon and mull whether to do a cornbread stuffing or a sourdough stuffing for Thursday.

Good luck TDO suits and WDW CM's, and don't forget to breathe! 🤣

Be careful with the images posted by @SWGalaxysEdge for Paris.
This is several fanArt made by me for the french forum DisneyCentralPlaza. The only information about betting is the 2D plans.
Everything I’ve done in 3D comes from my imagination and common sense.

First 3D version

Second 3D version

And I’m working on a new version.

ahhh thanks!

I wasn’t a Passholder at the time TSL opened, so could someone describe how those make-up events worked, please?

My post was a bit misleading; I didn't personally attend. Some friends did though, and they said there were next to no crowds. They rode SDD six times, Swirling Saucers twice, and TSM once.

Soooo.... I'm guessing they were not heavily attended.
I suppose that’s better than nothing. AP offerings aren’t as necessary in WDW as DL. Many WDW APs actually live out of state, so they can’t just pop in for a preview. They go if a preview happens when they already had a trip planned.

With that said, I went to the SWGE preview and it felt well-attended. Longer lines for MFSR than they saw once the land opened to all (I waited 70 min).
