Staying at the Dolphin in October. What's the Wifi situation like at those 2 hotels? Is it the standard Disney fare? Have been trying to figure out if I'll go wifi or not.

I was recently at Boardwalk very close to Dolphin, and I found a cell phone tower repeater on top of Jellyrolls (at least the part that faces Boardwalk.) On my balcony I had excellent 100+ mbps speeds on AT&T. A family member trying inside the room had much higher latency and the screen stalled when trying to join.

So if you have a weak signal inside, walk a little toward Jellyrolls on the boardwalk.

You could always get it for yourself then later get a CM to add the rest of your party members.

Yes on back to school. Some this past week and some the upcoming week. There is usually a drop off in attendance the last few weeks in August because of that.

Usually we have the brits in town to fill in that gap. Not so much this year.

That is what happened on Sunday (it's a couple pages back). Stand by was open for around an hour and toward closing it was supposedly a walk-on - but you can read more details back a few pages.

I haven't been watching this closely, but I notice today that the new field in the service response is no longer 30 minutes different than the older, existing field.

Since nothing has yet come from the new "Party Creation" time, this doesn't really mean anything. Maybe it's some testing or just a glitch, or maybe it's a strike against my idea that's a setup for a future 30 minute window to enter your party into a lottery to get a group.
