What would be even worse is if the attraction has been tested and live for months and there's only one "specialist staff" that is competent. I'd hope that's not the case.
Wonder if they rolled system updates out at DW first and did troubleshooting there assuming they could then apply the same fix to DL a bit later.

My 70+ year old grandparents are WDW veterans, but all of this new technology associated with their trips now has them stressed out. We did run through and practice rounds this weekend (and I even sent them with a hand-written Demarke method), and they’ll get to test it this morning. I hope I prepared them for it. If any of you are there this morning and see two, confused, 70 year old Pennsylvanians, please help them haha.

Could've been worse. They got group 69.

Hopefully it’s more this. I’d still like to see their actual confidence boost by raising the guaranteed groups again. It really wasn’t all that long ago that @KevinPage had a pretty major app failure and still had a guaranteed group at ~131.

I think that Disney is thinking it doesn't make sense for them to have the Guaranteed Boarding Group number too high. From their perspective, they can still achieve the high number but they don't have to guarantee it. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't they didn't disappoint or have to hand out fast passes.

That just tells me that they don’t trust themselves. Which is fine, but eventually they should raise the groups as reliability improves. It’s gotta be disheartening for people to think they’re “not gonna make it” even though they have group 70. 70 should not be an insurmountable number and Disney shouldn’t set the bar so low that they guarantee less than 7000 to ride in any given day.

Good Point!
