And even with evening EMH on Sundays, they don't extend calling groups, which comports with their statement that RotR won't be available during EMHs.

I think the adjustments to EMH in Feb a couple weeks ago is probably all they are going to do. Anything is possible, but I think that a Monday in early feb will stay at 9am.

I’m thinking Feb is still going to change...and possibly significantly. We are there for mid-winter break (aka President’s Week) which is one of the more crowded times of the year and they still have 9am openings. I fully expect those to bump up to at least 8am if not 7am...

Allears is a very good and reliable site - not clickbait. They've been around for a long time and have a LOT of good info. Granted, some is outdated (ie menus), but the same challenges face all unofficial sites.

As for the article's claim about ROTR during EMH... that is an interesting claim that does not seem to match what has been shared on these forums.

Thank you for saying this. What kind of alternate universe am I in where Disney fans are unfamiliar with Deb's site?

Am I..... old?

Yeah, I've never heard of it. My bad for making an assumption. I looked at a few articles and a lot seemed to be written like buzzfeed articles - kind of written quickly to get page views (which is clickbaity to me).
From the article: "The entire park will be open during this period, including Rise of the Resistance, giving you an extra chance to grab that coveted boarding pass." - if true, that warrants much more than a passing reference, so I wondered if someone just wrote an article quickly without much research and made an assumption.

This one article may not be representative of the site (and this writer seems to have started with them in 2019, so that may be the case), but that's how it came across to me.

So what's the deal on this ride? I'm going to Disney this weekend, can I get a boarding pass without standing in a parking lot at 5 AM? I'm not going to do that.

I could do a drive by on rope drop to get a boarding pass and then go somewhere else.
Yep. That’s basically all you need right now. Be in the park just before the posted open, snag a boarding group and, who knows, if you get a lot number you’ll be riding within an hour. 6:30 arrival should do the trick.

To be fair, I haven’t frequented AllEars in quite a while. Could have changed for all I know, but that place was the OG for me. I hope it hasn’t gone downhill.

Since both Debs have left, sadly the site is not what it used to be. It is much more social media/Instagram focused (get all new info out fast regardless of accuracy) to attract a younger audience. (Which is why @SoFloMagic thought the site was click bait.)

I was about to get into WDW property and try for a backup group when I saw groups closed. That seems considerably earlier than the past week or two? Maybe they closed early from the delayed start.
