Thank you Blue 7 for the report. I will be starting my my run before sunrise tomorrow. May the force be with you.
Good morning, Blue 7 reporting in

They opened security at 4:45 today. This is the look at 4:53. I wasn’t first in line but when they opened up more ticket lines I got first in line at the 3rd scanner to the left.

I’m gonna be ambitious and try to rope drop MFSR and go for pilot. Will send periodic updates.

I just noticed EMH tonight also. I seem to remember reading here that Rise will not operate during EMH?, but I am not sure.

If so, I wonder if they will open Standby.
I think the last time they had EMH they had already fulfilled all groups by that time. No standby or any extra groups were given out, they just packed up early.

If they aren’t through all the extras I would hope they would continue calling until at least 9 or so.

I think the point is mute. I would bet anything that as soon as the Star Wars Hotel opens that HS (and maybe the rest of WDW) will have a paid FP system similar to Paris (and universal). That will level the playing field for accessibility, just not affordability
Just to be clear, Fastpasses are still available for free in Paris. And it still works. It is not like Universals system.
They are really trying to push the skyliner are a primary method of transportation aren’t they
They are, and they will.

Curious... what is the Paris FP system?

The legacy system. It was wonderful to use again.

Paid and hotel suite options are available too

OK, I've been reading everything. Let me know if I have this right for my effort at this next Thursday. I am a party of just me.

1. Drive my own car or use Uber. Not staying at a skyliner hotel so know that busses are iffy.
2. Leave Poly by 5:45 just in case there is parking mess. That gives me an hour to drive over there, and walk to the gates and be in the park by 6:45 [DOES THAT SOUND LIKE ENOUGH TIME??]
3. Don't carry a bag so I can avoid the bag check.
4. Open the app precisely at 7:00.
5. HERE IS WHERE I GET FUZZY -- WHAT IS THE ORDER OF OPERATION FOR THE APP?
6. PRAY.
7. If it doesn't work go to guest assistance.
8. If I get a boarding pass of higher than 75, consider leaving the park and coming back. WHAT TIME WOULD YOU GUYS SAY THEY START HITTING 75? I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE A 2 HOUR WINDOW, RIGHT? The expo opens at 10 a.m., so I could go do that and come back.
9. Keep the app open during the day, and watch where the BG's are. WHAT IS THE ORDER OF OPERATION TO DO THAT?

Sorry for being so granular, but I don't want to get up this early and screw it up by user error. . . Thanks!!

Step 10 is to relax!! It sounds like you know what to do!

If it’s 7am and you are not seeing the “join” button activated I would keep closing the app out completely until it shows. I’ve never had to do it more than once. You could also refresh under my status but imo the app close is safer.

Anything above 50 I think you should feel confident in being able to leave to the expo and back with plenty of time.

You can always check what groups are loading right on the first page of the app, even if you don’t have a BG that day.

As far as parking goes, I pulled up to the booth at 6:05, 3 cars ahead of me and was parked in less than 5 mins.

There’s another option which is said to work better

When on the app, don’t try and click on “join boarding group” immediately but instead click on “My Status”. It seems to refresh quicker and allow you a jump on others. And it means you don’t have to wait to open the app right at opening.
That's what my son did yesterday when we got 30.
