I think they should just add groups at the end of the night if applicable. Asking people to wait 13 hours for just a chance to be called with no compensation if not seems harsh.

I get wanting to reward people who were just a little late but it’s too extreme of a time commitment.

Officially fallen behind yesterday's pace (Yesterday, we were at BG 86 at 3:20; today we are at BG 84 at 3:20)... still a good pace overall though... Considering the last group was called at 6:30 pm yesterday, should still have no issue getting through the 121 "promised" BGs plus deep into whatever "extra" BGs they also handed out today.

Seems I spoke too soon...

I dont think my nice made it. she got there at 6:30 and got group 91. unless my ex-sister-in-law did what my wife would have done and gone to Guest Services right away there is no way they made ot before 1:30 PM when they had to leave for their flight. I would not have waited upt their last day to try and get the ride. Please, to everyone else don't be as stupid and wair till your last day to ride RotR. My Bother did tell me my nice had a great time at WDW

May I ask why she would have gone to Guest Services? Because your niece didn't show up early enough to get an earlier boarding number? Everyone has plans and sometimes the BG you get doesn't line up with your plans and that's all their is to it. I understand its her birthday and all but people have been saying all week to get their early. If they're not their early, that's not Disney's fault.

We didn't get to ride on Dec 7 either. We chose not to let this disappointment, ruin the rest of our vacation.

Complaining at Guest Services, never crossed our minds. What could they've done about it anyway? Sometimes all you can do, is roll with the punches.

Hopefully, we'll be able to ride next year, at some point. 🤞

Why are no Disney news outlets talking about the fact that the ride is at half capacity?

We are arriving January 10th for 2 weeks, really hoping capacity increases by then - don't fancy arriving at HS at 4.30am with our 5,3 and 1 year olds! Although time difference from the UK may work in our favour during the first few days of our trip. I'm really annoyed that after literally months of planning our schedule and booking our FP+ Disney completely dropped AM EMH for HS. With the ages of our kids evening EMH isn't any good to us as they will be too tired. Also we have booked FP times and dining reservations which now aren't what would like/need them to be. I kind of miss the days of being able to wake up and decide which park you wanted to visit that day.
