Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening reports and using Boarding Groups at Disneyland

I'm gonna get there at midnight the night before opening. Maybe incredibly foolish, but they usually let people into the park pretty early before big openings, so I don't think EMH will have a leg up. Thinking about trying to get in front of a fastpass machine at park opening and just get it ASAP, of course while trying on the app as well.

We soooo want to do this but will probably skip the first weekend and see how things go and maybe try the second weekend. When you live 25 minutes away and have APs you have options! And we expected to ride 7 months ago lol, so if things are really crazy I can wait it out a few more weeks. It's just nice to know its there! :)

Does this attraction really demand three separate threads????

18 hours from now the Boarding Group game starts and will be a huge thing for the next few months. There will be a million questions and daily tracking numbers to sort through, so this thread dedicated to Boarding Group logistics and operation will be much needed.

The DHS version of this thread was hilarious!

Yes... thankfully we all have a great track record of staying on topic around here ;)

Hmmmm... I did not consider that Saturday the 25th is an extra magic hour morning. Perhaps not a good day for a lowly AP to try and get on?
Me neither. I fly in the morning of the 25th, but probably won't get to the park until like 9:30am. I'm pretty much resolved to most likely not being able to ride it that day (unless I get lucky with a backup boarding pass), but I'm spending the night in Anaheim so I'll just have to get there extra early Sunday morning.

Man, this whole thread is giving me major deja vu from back when Galaxy's Edge opened. "It's gonna be so busy" "How will Disney handle the demand" "There won't be enough capacity"

Everyone is just basing it on Florida obviously. Of course it could be a different thing here and I really, really hope so lol. But you know what they say, hope for the best but...

The next week will probably tell us how bad or not so bad it will be at least until spring break hits.

Well I don't know about the rest of you but I for one can't wait to watch Justin Scared's ride pov video from opening day of Rise of the Resistance on opening day at Disneyland because no matter how busy the park will be, our favorite vloggers will get boarding passes. I can't wait to hear him constantly talk and yell throughout the ride, literally narrating everything we are seeing as if we are blind and at the end I can't wait for him to say how much he loves it and for us to "go home and schleeeeep well" at the end

Not sure about Anaheim, but here in Villa Park just before 10pm it's cold and now drizzling.

I really hope there aren't people camping out overnight in this weather to go on this ride!
