An Animatronic talking Yoda meet and greet would be awesome...

Ya know, if they'd remove the Star Tours ride and put it in a Star Wars theme park, they'd have room for a cool James Bond attraction. Just sayin.

In DL, they have Stormstroopers walking around for a M&G on random days. I don't see why you can't have them or other characters on a regular basis.

I have some exciting and confirmed news regarding this. Due to the overwhelming popularity of "Value Engineering", there will be low cost M&Gs around Star Tours. They will have several cardboard cutouts of your favorite characters. The best part is that you won't have to worry about standing next to someone who really does not look like Harrison Ford or Mark Hamil, because the images will be of them. Isn't that great?? On certain days, lucky guests will be able to take them on RSR with the cardboard rock work. That will be one great photo op at the end of your ride. I hope this brightens everyone's day just a tad.

Over by Star Tours I see no reason why

Seems logical.

There was a rumor a while back that Jedi Training Academy would move to the Sounds Dangerous theater to increase capacity, at that point they could use the current Jedi Training Academy area for Star Wars Meet and Greets.

I see no problems with Star Wars meet and greets at the studios. If they start to show up in front of mission space or space mountain than no. Although a Jabba's palace Leia meet and greet in front of the castle I could live with (only since shes a Disney princess now) ;)

My son has been wanting to go to Star Wars weekends for a couple of years now, so I know that he'd love any type of Star Wars characters in the parks (doesn't matter which park!). :)

I definitely wish they would do m&g's all year and not just star wars weekends. I'm sure its in the future now that they own them.
