I don't disagree, but I can't imagine something that resembles nazi uniforms are going to be big sellers.
Sure they will. Most people are rational enough to know this is purely fiction and some just like the bad guys in movies.

Then there are others that start a Twitter war over a poll that asks which side you would want to be on so maybe you have a point 🤦‍♂️

Anytime there's a new massive wave of merchandise there's going to be some stuff that is wildly popular and some stuff that ends up in the outlets. I'm guessing a bunch of the First Order stuff ends up in the outlets.

I don’t know about that. I know this stuff is a bit different but they sell plenty of first order related toys and what not already. If there was a big pushback or loss on those items I think we would’ve seen it by now.

It really baffles me that the giant rubber Prolemuris from Pandora, the World of AVATAR, was shipped to the outlets and severely marked down. Surely, the same won't happen to crude wooden replicas of characters like Dok On'dar.

How would you guys feel about a dedicated merch thread? I'm probably going to make one since everyone wants to talk merch (including me).

Not sure if soft drinks count as merch, but does any one know how many ounces those round Coca-Cola/Sprite bottles are? It's already highway robbery to buy a 20 ounce soda or water in the parks, I'm curious if these will be less ounces but more money.

If they are the same size as the round Christmas ones they do they are 13.5 oz.

Your going to be paying though the nose anyways...but like stated above 13.5 oz is what is expected
By Merch, I mean all the actual merch like droids, sabers, really anything like that...I guess you could count the bottles if you wanted as collectibles.

....is anyone else totally mystified by the love for these Coke bottles?

If Universal was doing this, there would be pitchforks out about them "ruining the immersion."

If universal was doing it we would be surprised they actually went that far with the theme for sodas. with that said, i don't think the soda bottles are a big thing. They are cool but they don't add or remove anything to the theming of the place. anyone that thought coke would not be sold in the land is kidding themselves.

Here is a better close up of the custom ones

Finally we are getting to the stuff I care about. For me, I want my blade to be super unique so I’m eyeing that golden blade in the 4th picture. I’d be more of a mystic guardian type I’d feel like. Any indication the custom ones are medal? The legacy ones look awesome as well but of course I want to make my own.

EDIT: I’m even a big fan of the tusk looking blade really want to make this my own.

The customizable sabers look... Cheap. Am I the only one who thinks they look like plastic instead of metal?

I’m not sure can’t really tell they don’t look “cheap” per say at least to me. We were promised extremely high end buildable sabers. I think the reporters said they were heavy and medal.

They didn't specify metal but they did say they are hefty and much better than the plastic custom ones you get in the parks now. Some look like they very well could be metal.

That’s reassuring, I’m sure they will do a good job in this department

Side Note: I really like that holocron, and Jedi Temple Guard mask...man I really need to add a lot more to the trip budget. At least I have plenty of time to save.
