Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I wonder what the vegetarian and vegan options will be at the two QSRs. The tofu bowl at Satu'li Canteen was amazing. Hopefully they'll have something just as good at these two places, and I bet they will.
From what I understand, the "meatballs" and the "meatloaf" will both be plant-based with the meat from Incredible Foods/Incredible Burger as the base. Should be great.

For those wondering why Florida might end up wrapped up in this announcement, it’s because things have supposedly gone very well as of late for the Disney’s Hollywood Studios version of the land. If sources are to be believed, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in Florida in September/October, with preview events set to start in late July. A lot still has to go right for this to happen, but it sounds likely."
I'd be more than happy for a few preview soft opening events/oppertunites to see SWGE or ride something happening as early as July. Next trip is mid August. :D
Our next trip after that will be March 2020 so SWGE should be in full swing, if still working out kinks but I'd love to get in sooner.

Just an idea. Wouldn't mind seeing an offering here before EMH. Perhaps themed around sunrise. Starting at 5 AM to 7 AM. No attractions open but ability to wander land and shops and capture nighttime and sunrise photos. One fastpass for either of the two attractions later in the day and breakfast voucher. Everyone clears out for EMH or early role drop. I'd buy this ticket.

A time to play around with the PlayDisneyParks free of crazy crowds would be welcome....I just really want to go around and translate aurebesh (sure for some people that's boring but I'm a sucker for the details)

Will be interesting to see if a WDW date is announced and what That does to travel booked plans/reservations or if a chunk of folks have still been holding off. We were in early stages of planning an Oct trip but will be nixing that if Sept/Oct is to be believed.

Well I'll tell you right now trying to book DVC is impossible unless you want to split stay at at least 3 different resorts during pretty much any week in October. People are definitely expecting it to be open if you look at the reservations for all the park resorts. rough.

Who's buying tickets for this?

I know @marni1971 and @wdwmagic will be there

What's the source on that? "Editorial Nonsense Manager" seems suspect, but I've seen stranger legitimate titles before.

I'm also not sure what benefit being an overnight event brings other than trying to get these participants out of the park as early as possible because they need to go back to the hotel and sleep.

Yes please. Been a vegetarian since 1992 and I can’t get enough of the impossible burgers. They also make great taco and pizza meat. All my carnivorous friends that have tried them say they are delicious and some of them actually prefer them to a lot of the real burgers out there...though I would bet an exceptional real burger would still be preferred by most non vegetarians.
