Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I wonder if it might be an interesting/worthwhile idea to chart the probabilities of SWGE opening timeframes. For example, we know there is a near-100% probability of the land opening sometime in fall 2019 (even if that means December 21, the last day of fall). But what - according to our insiders - is the probability of an opening by December1? Perhaps 70%? What about November 1? 30%? And so on...

We already have one of those.

Is it just me or is the Florida project catching up to Anaheim? They are seemingly only about a 30-45 days apart at this point.

Overall it still lags several months behind.

There are isolated elements that are much further ahead than DL and others further behind. So it's deceptive depending on what exactly you are looking at. The prime example being the Cantina building (with the spaceship perched on top). That's always been ahead of pace for practically a year now.

You can see from the near map image - which is 40 days exactly older than Bio's photos: the rock work is further advanced with more layers of scaffolding down, further advancement on many of the market domes and the most obvious being the progression on the Falcon model. Also particularly evident is the queue work on Battle Escape with colouring + even some early trees.

However, I still remain optimistic (as I always have) that there is nothing to suggest DHS is falling off pace comparatively.

Disneyland Railroad is so much cooler

Than the DHS entrance or the MK railroad? If MK railroad I agree, if the DHS entrance, eh it kind of is a mis-match having an old fashioned steam train going by a galaxy far far away.

As you know, this has been a huge topic on the Disneyland board, but nice to see it migrate here as the DHS project gets closer to completion also. :)

There are major style differences, plus some noticeable physical differences, between the two entry points at DHS and Disneyland's three entry points into Star Wars Land.

The DHS entry point at DHS that lines up exactly with a Disneyland entry point, is the Toy Story Land entrance.

This entrance from Toy Story Land to Star Wars Land at DHS, including the angle and distance from Star Wars itself...

Is duplicated in Disneyland by the middle entrance off of the Big Thunder Trail on the north side of Frontierland...

There's a tunnel you walk through, and then up an incline, into Star Wars Land at Disneyland. Whereas at DHS there's a dogleg walkway through an open trench instead of a tunnel.

The other entrances into the land are even more different on each coast.

From Grand Avenue streetscape that leads to and through a long dogleg tunnel in DHS...

Whereas at Disneyland, that Grand Avenue entrance is placed as the Critter Country entrance that goes down a sloped walkway along the Rivers of America...

Before it makes a 90 degree turn and goes under a Disneyland Railroad trestle and into a cave before the pathway turns another 90 degrees into Star Wars Land...

The third Star Wars Land entrance at Disneyland is off the Big Thunder Trail and doesn't exist at DHS, but would be west of the existing Toy Story Land entrance if it did exist at DHS...

Hello, are there marine creatures in this attraction? I would like to see an area with water like avatar land , with creatures interacting with visitors.

There was supposed to be a water feature. Don't know if they'll put some sort of active 'living' feature in it, let alone one that is interactive.
