Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend - The Dark Side

That's my understanding also. I printed out both my registration and completion certificate to bring to the Expo, just in case. We ate also supposed to receive a wrist band to wear so we can receive our Kessel medal upon completing the Half.
I plan on wearing my Virtual medal until my first race.

In April? Doubt it. Hope I'm wrong. There has to be a run-through in 2020. 2020 will be year 5 and I'm going for that perfect Dark Side ribbon. But that would require a new course with DHS early.

Rain is crashing my 9 miler today... Don't want to do it on the treadmill...
I wish rD would release the race shirts, like they did for the Princess. Makes it so much easier to determine which color Sparkle skirts and visors to pack. I'm sure I'll be safe with silver, red and black, but what if they have blue?

I’m worried about my trip.
I’m at Disney as the HEAD CHAPERONE of our senior class trip this Monday - Saturday. It’s also a runDisney weekend and I’m not a part of it :-(
I am not sure I can handle my disappointment. Of being there and not running.

The Challenge, Half and 10K are still open. Just tell them you'll be busy for a few hours in the early AM....

I see they opened spots up. I’ll be up till 2ish fri night so not sure I want to run the sat 10K lol. Just wouldn’t be fun for me.

Well today is the day of the 10 mile long run... I've done seven and I'm in my car blasting the a.c. so I can go finish the last three without heat stroke. It's like running through 86 degree molasses out there.
Too bad this was the only time I could run today.

You'll be conditioned for the expected temps for the race. 20% chance of rain, with lows in the upper 60s, expect a yellow flag by race day. One blessing, increasing clouds throughout the day.

Why? None of the parks are open until then - MK closes at 10PM. What are those kids going to be doing that you need to be up until 2AM Saturday morning?
