As expected, Floridaās SWGE will attract huge crowds in a massive resort and the appropriate theme park. Now come on, Disney, add some rooms to that Cantina! 
This doesnāt change my opinion of the landās content, but Iām glad to see huge crowds for opening day. Crowds = necessary expansions.

Itās opening day on a summer holiday weekend with no AP blackouts. Iām surprised that people thought it would be empty. Letās see what the land is like two weeks from now.

It was always going to have the better opening in Florida. In the park it should be in. Disneyland just blocked too many and others were too scared to go so it created the perfect storm.

AK also only opened at 8 AM with a 7 AM EMH on opening day. Line peaked at 250 min for FoP but hovered around 220 for most of the day.
DHS opened at 8 AM when SDD opened. Line briefly peaked at 300 min, but hovered around 270 for much of the day.
So given the current line and virtual queue, plus hours of operation, this is shaping up to be a pretty big day given recent history.

Anyone know what boarding group number is being handed out now? The app is showing boarding up to group 48 right now.

Agreed. I don't understand why anyone thinks Galaxy's Edge at the busiest place on Earth will just fade away after a week or two of being open. It's here to stay and it's going to be crowded for a long time. Get over it.

Wow...48? That's a high number for so early!
Now 52 and the wait time is now 180.
Is it possible boarding groups may be being called earlier than their windows?
MK is a walk-on for everything except 7DMT.
FOP is 30!

That's what I am trying to figure out, how big that number really is. Not sure how big the groups are.

I got my boarding pass at 630 and just got the notification to return at 9:05.

Since you could join a boarding group without being in the state, I imagine the no-show rate was pretty high until they fixed it. So they have to go through a lot of boarding groups to get to actual people to let in.
