I still think it's too early to make this leap. September is never busy. It's one of two low times that Disney seems unable to crack. People just don't travel to theme parks in September.

Let's see what the last three months of the year bring.
Let’s look at the last three or even six months. It’s been a steady downward trend. SWGE has not changed that trend line at this point.

For all we know this has nothing to do with Disney and more to do with the general economy, what with warning signs of a recession. Again, let's wait and see rather than jump to conclusions.

Reaching here.

I guess those price increases will be reversed then?

They are.

But unless they eat humble pie and take a long look at the reasons all that will happen (again) will be band aids over the underlying problems.

Well if Chapek wants the CEO hat, I’m sure he’ll implement the responsible solution to correct these issues...that is TWDC way after all, right?

Hearing from a few cast members that severe hour cuts (even for "full time") started being handed out in scheduling today.

HHN Opening night apparently set attendance records though (for opening night).

What I get out of that type of juxtaposition is that people are being much more picky about when to go, because of the cost, than before. Mickey & Rise not being open probably have a lot to do with it.

Ok, but that number of interruptions is getting smaller and smaller by the hour. When it’s dead next week, what’s the excuse? High Humidity?

Sure, but the point is flight cancellations cascade and do cause issues for a while. I think you should start seeing crowd flow back to normal soon. There’s no way UO is also dead because of GE...

They never will reduce prices. They may offer more discounts and special offers though. Although they should. 5 years ago Disney was probably below what the market would bear for it. Now it's probably a bit above. They were too agressive.

Where did you hear that? All reviews/reports I’m seeing from attendees said this year’s opening was way less crowded then usual.

You don’t remember post 2001 then.

Such a shame.
But Keep those APs at $1k...

Imagine the crowds they could have by incentivizing guests. But as @marni1971 said they won’t admit failure.
