How in the heck can the trees grow leaves when you won't draw any happy faces on them!?

Grow trees, grow. Do your jobs.

Edit: I believe this is a perfect likeness of my original concept art.

I think the mountains are the technological sublime. I look with disbelief. I don't have any hard feelings against Big Thunder but its amazing to see how far the rockwork sculpting has come since then. It is toontown in the foreground that makes me wont to vomit.
Yes, ToonTown is literally rotting before our eyes. Yet, I almost prefer the rot to whatever garbage they replace it with. I've grown very bored with Star Wars so the new land holds very little excitement for me. I'm sure it'll be well done, but when you could careless about the IP, flying the Falcon, or riding through a First Order battle are very meh sounding. And that begs the disturbing question, how many times do I really need to come back for POTC or HM, or any of the other greats that are left when I've already ridden them dozens of times. It's sad.

California has been having weird seasonal swings lately. Warm, cold, rainy, cold, warm, etc., even in SoCal. I have a feeling now that May is here these trees will start filling out like crazy now.

It has been weird hasn’t it? We had a pretty warm January and February. I feel like March was colder and then April was up and down. Now another unusual cold spell in May. I don’t think I’ve ever had the heater on in May before.

So, if the opening date announcement does not come today, it would not give enough advanced notice to AP's, to set it for Star Wars Day in 2019, correct? But of course, this assumes new AP blackouts are to come.

You don't even need to go on Splash to see bits of the Matterhorn from NO Square or Critter Country areas. I don't have a problem with those little visual intrusions; they hint at the other exciting elements awaiting us.
Agreed. I'm not sure why folks are having a hard time with sightlines because of this (other than being pi$$ed about SW). Visual intrusions appear all over the park.

Comparing recent video from Fresh Baked and Mint Crocodile's model shots, I'm going back to my prediction that the railing will be short for forced perspective purposes.
