Well, I hadn't seen them before, and the site I got them from only posted them yesterday...always behind :(

Check out the 2:19 to 2:23 mark on this video excerpt of Harrison Ford introducing the Star Wars Experience in that 60th anniversary ABC special back whenever that was:

I've seen these being posted as new elsewhere as well, so don't feel sad. :)

So does it look like these will have any motion? Or are they just big and imposing?

Hard to say from these pictures. When I enlarge them, it looks as though the heads and necks are just rigidly attached to the bodies, but there could be pivot points built in that I can't make out. I would hope they would have at least some limited motion, like the head turning to track you as you pass.

I'm not seeing any articulation built into the legs, which look to be solid steel hoof to hip.

Two "newly released" (but really actually older) pieces of concept art!

Still worth revisiting. It's nice that we have these concept art of two of our more ambiguous areas. The top one they strangely obscured on the land overview concept art. The bottom is the much debated support facility. It would start just around the far left of the image and continue out of frame. The fact they've been re-disiminated from the shareholder meeting at least means they still apply.

These two images released at D23 2015 I think we can safely ignore. The design has changed quite a bit and they are no longer representative.

They also may be representative of the "old" DHS version meant for Echo lake area, before the two projects melded together. This version wouldn't have blended in very well with frontierland.

Yeah, but the sort of locales Disney Star Wars is capitalizing on are the ones we saw in the old movies. Desert, snow, forest. Really basic stuff with aliens, spaceships and installations. They didn't stray at all from this in their new movie. That concept art doesn't even look right for the prequels. Sort of a mishmash of Naboo, Mos Espa and Kashyyyk, but something's off. Those huge towers (tree trunks?) have to go. It looks more like a place the fellowship stopped at.

Where are all the wood elves? Imagine a Hobbit ride were you rode down a river in barrel.
