I’d have to disagree again. Have you been to the English countryside? This ain’t it. There’s no excuse for Disney or Universal to have track supports showing. Takes away all the feeling that you’re part of that world. Nothing feels wizardly or magical about seeing the supports when there are fixes for that. This is a step in the right direction, but still missing the full picture.

I can almost guarantee you that when you see the reveal in person.... you are awed. Yes, you see all the track... but that's secondary to how you see all this interact.

I love how BTMRR integrates the track... Everest is an example where that element is MISSING and while its visually a distraction, you let it go.

I can pretty much guarantee you that once you ride the ride, you won't give a SINGLE TOOT about the track. The motorcycle headlight at night WORKS SO WELL you don't care.

It’s the going in and out of light and dark that bothers me. There’s no extreme build up or anything that leads you to believe we are getting closer to the Forbidden Forest. Just a regular trip and then BAM you’re in a cave that’s somehow the forest. If anything, it’s even more bare right before you enter. Then that painted show building...

As someone who's actually ridden it (not just watched a video)... these concerns are offbase and don't carry weight.

The painted warehouse you see.. yes.. but it's out in the distance.. no worry.

The into the dark?? You go through a steam cloud that disorients EVERYTHING and you're going *BACKWARDS* into a castle area that darkens everything.. and then you go inside to the actual forbidden forest. It all works... don't worry.

Nothing from GE looks as cool as the waiting line for the train at Diagon Alley/London.

Except when entering the platform room they let you get so close to the platform edge that you can see all the machinery :/

If they somehow made it so the train was always already there waiting for you as the group entered the platform... that would have nailed it.

You know what I find odd? During every video I have seen of the lightsaber building experience, when you first walk into the building, the enterance room appears to be really well themed with many artifacts on the walls as if you were meant to spend a extended time in that little room and look around before going to the main show, but in every video they are rushing people right into the main building room. So why have a detailed room if guests have 2 seconds to look at it? It is like the one are of the land they don't want you to look around in. I have 2 thoughts as to why this is, now keep in mind these are just my theories. THEORY 1: The Lightsaber experience was meant to be just a walk in experience where it was first come first serve and the door was meant to be open and you would wait in this little room until the last show had ended then you would enter the main room, but then Disney changed it to what it is. Like it was meant to be the foryer before you entered the stretching room so to speak. THEORY 2: They meant to have the attraction as you pay up front then they have your group wait in that little room while the last show finished only they realzied the room was too small so now they have you wait outside until you are called then you are rushed into the building.

Butterbeer killer.

I've seen that in reference to the blue and green milk, which has been getting mixed reviews, and therefor, are no butterbeer killers.

OK... refresh my memory: Doesn't butterbeer also get mixed reviews from the general public? It's basically a modified cream soda, which isn't all the popular to begin with.

Sure, there are people who like it for the taste and Potter fans who like it for the ambiance. But is butterbeer really popular?

LeFou’s Brew felt like Disney’s response to Butterbeer in 2012, closest thing we have is Red’s Apple Freeze at Cozy Cone if you mix the bottom. I like both a lot better than either milk so there weren’t any food items that stuck out like Wizarding World to me. Butterbeer is still king

I'm currently working as a teaching aid for a pre-k class and am studying to teach high school history and my opinion is teachers are overpaid.

Sorry dude. Big swing and a miss there. I know too many teachers who are barely getting by.
When a teacher needs to start considering a secondary (and in some cases, third) stream of income
ON TOP OF their teacher salary... there's a problem.

"When we started this experience you might naturally think that we thought 'oh, what kind of ride are we going have?' ... But that's not actually what we started with."

Yeah. It shows.

Yup. I figured. Its a fundamental mistake IMO. It’s the exact opposite way I’ve been saying I wish they would have done it. Aesthetics + rides first.

I personally love the topping. My family loves the drink and we always get a few every trip but if it wasn't for that topping I'd probably just buy it once per trip. I have a fun memory of my mom & I buying it for the first time, and my topping kept growing unlike hers because I wasn't drinking mines right away, She was really jealous & now drinks hers a few minutes after buying. I do like the hot butterbeer way better than the other two versions, it's just rarely cold enough for it. I'm really excited to try the new drinks at SWL though I'll probably like the drinks in the Cantina way more than the Blue & Green milk.
