Ya I did subsequently watch it. Probably better to peruse those ones without sound. o_O

One of the many things they had wrong - the beams were removed, not cut off. Don't ask me why, but there was some other video I saw of it happening.

Agreed. The very thorough and complete refurbishment, including re-Imagining decades old color palettes and designs, is a nice surprise connected to all this Star Wars construction.

Nice to see TDA taking advantage of this 18 month closure and getting stuff done that has nothing to do with Star Wars, making the 61 year old Island ready for another decade or two of play.

I wish we could at least get the little copula roofs added back to the Fort Wilderness towers. I hated that the new fake fort never had those.

It would be nice if the fort was open to the public too. I liked that Knotts Berry Farm type scene they had in headquarters. I miss the guns.

I miss the secret escape tunnel, which was sealed up long before the rest of the fort closed. So much fun for a kid-- A bonus adventure, genuinely mysterious and a bit scary, that maybe one out of five hundred guests would notice and try. You'll never see Disney build anything like that again; It was there simply because Walt & Co. thought it would be fun.

I wonder how many goose eggs those tunnels have made over the years?
I never hit my head as a kid, but as an adult I sure brained myself once in Injun Joe's Cave-- and it literally happened less than a second after I warned my nephew to watch his head. :D

I noticed the dirt pile has been getting smaller. And I also noticed a bunch of new dirt piled up over on the Manchester demo site for the new east end gateway. Perhaps they have been moving it over there for their new ramp build up once the hotel is demolished?

Dirt is also being moved against the North side of the concrete Wall against frontier land. Seems that the ROA facing side will be rock work and the Star Wars facing side will be a more transitional berm with trees.

My rebel spies report that there is excavation on the site of the "expansion pad" at the East end of SWL opposite ToonTown.. The Eastern end of SWL from the old Circle D Ranch down to BTT is the least documented area so far. This is kind of interesting.
