..there were actually but it was to CM's only.
How much did they charge the CMs?

Haha I couldn't imagine the anger that we would get if they started charging CMs for cast previews. The only cast previews that I've done was for the Frozen show and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters in DCA.How much did they charge the CMs?

Do you think they will have single rider for these rides?
Star Tours after 32 years still doesn’t officially have single rider (though there are rumors its being tested) so why would you expect a new land to open with single rider. So no there will probably be no single rider for the first year at least.
Cars opened with Single Rider, and that was the last big E Ticket added to the Resort.
That’s true, but this is a different beast of a land. My bet is no single rider, at least initially.
Edit: Another thing to think about is that both DLR and DHS versions of SW:GE are being built in a similar fashion, albeit DHS version a bit smaller... So with single rider not really being a thing at WDW, limited to what only 3-4 attractions around the resort, it lends more credence that there will probably be no single rider for either SW:GE lands.

Still probably won’t ride it next time I go tbhFrom MC:
Star Tours Single Rider
Some of you may really like this news item . . . but the cast members we spoke with about it weren’t happy about it at all. Star Tours has added Single Rider. Unfortunately, it’s confusing and labor intensive. You enter Single Rider through the Star Trader shop at the exit of the attraction. Give it a try and let us know your thoughts.

...I hope it doesn't get abused, but the "Smuggler's Run" ADA pods (2 of them) might be abused as a "single rider".
Note, the 2 ADA pods are NOT attached to the turntable like the other pods. Have not confirmed yet if a wheelchair rider had to transfer or not.
Single rider is best when built into the queue design from the get-go, as with RSR. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it included in both SWGE rides. It's a win-win for everyone. It really can't be abused much when designed right: If a group's willing to split up in order to join a shorter wait, I've got no problem with that (unless it was a humongous tour group of 50 people or more). Anything that keeps vehicles from dispatching with empty seats is a good thing. If they plan ahead, adding single rider could help with hourly capacity, so maybe they’ll try it.
Not as big of an issue as Fastpass mismanagement by CMs tbhsingle rider works great when the cast members use it properly. I have seen cast members send complete groups of single riders into vehicles to get the line moving when In reality it should just be used to fill in empty seats. When cast members send multiple single riders to fill seats instead of standby riders just to keep the single rider line moving then it doesn't serve its purpose and makes the standby line longer. It is also not fair for those that had waited longer in line.
Not as big of an issue as Fastpass mismanagement by CMs tbh
That's not how "track records" work.
A track record predicts they'd do the same, not do a lot more.
