everytime i see an aerial image it is just amazing how imoressive that whole construction site is. I also think they should have built another path that leads to the Fantasyland theater.
Yes i know there is a backstage road but it hasn't stopped them from using that same road during busy times to divert guests. They could have added a pathway and had swinging gates that could be opened when necessary near the northern edge of the theater.

Imagine what a path like this would do to help keep traffic flow from creating a bottleneck near the teacups when guests are trying to get from IASW mall area to frontierland or vice versus

Yeah, maybe - but that presumes that Fantasyland theater won't be replaced in the near future.

Have you seen that entrance to SWL from Grand Ave? The tunnel and rock work are fantastic and will be a unique experience to DHS.

I'm sure the rockwork once past the tunnel will be amazing but pretty much be the same in both versions.

The main differences is that in Florida you have a tunnel facade and i am sure the inside will be themed to look like a concrete tunnel and in Anaheim you have a trussel and some fantastic rock formations

I think they will both have very nicely done entrances that fit their locations.

I do have to say that something does not look right when it comes to the way the sidewalks meet up with the concrete wall attached to the tunnel entrance. The way the sidewalk just ends against the wall looks unnatural. I think that it would have looked better if they had left it without the side walls and made it look more like a natural Berm with lots of trees. The tunnel would look as if built into the Berm and created a better flow that continued with the landscape that is being put on top of it.

I think it will look a bit odd once done since it will be a huge concrete wall with trees growing up on top of it when viewed from Grand Avenue. i wonder if there are any new photos available taken from the opposite side of the street showing all the new landscaping on top of the tunnel
