DL fans are clearly superior in pretty much every measurable way.

WDW’s will have the rest of Orlando ;)

As someone who just returned from a week at WDW, you guys can keep your Orlando!! As an ex-Floridian (lived there until my early 20s) turned Californian, I could not believe how insanely hot, crowded, and uncomfortable central Florida was in mid-February. How people visit those parks in the thick of the summer, I honestly have no idea.

Also, as crowded as our SoCal parks can get/feel, that was nothing to what I just experienced over there. It's also such a different breed of guest. Lots of good positive stuff too, it wasn't all bad of course...but dang... that weather. I don't know how I used to do it!

There's an official Disney song called "Once Upon a Time in Anaheim." It's pretty awful, but does the Walt Disney Company own a song about Orlando?

I once (once!) let my wife make the WDW rezzies. She booked end of Sept. beginning of Oct. My sweat was sweating! It almost ended us.

I lived in the Southeast for many years in the 20th century, and it was miserable. I'm a West Coast native, so it was a horrible shock when I first got there, and I sort of got used to it after a couple years, but I will never in a million years ever move back. It's been awhile since I've gone to WDW (always January), and I get my non-Disneyland fix by heading to the overseas parks lately, but my God the climate and weather in Orlando is abysmal about 11 months out of the year. I just don't know how or why people go there on purpose.

I can only imagine the horrors of the WDW version of Star Wars Land in the summer of 2020 when the lines are four hours long, the temp is 97 and the humidity is 80% and everyone just aches for that daily 3 o'clock rainstorm to blow through.

That's actually way better than the actual song. :D

Of for gosh sakes, it isn't that bad. It's not particularly good, but it's not that bad. Here it is in all its 1980 glory...

I've never been bothered by the weather in Central Florida. The only thing that kinda sucks when visiting the theme parks, especially compared to Southern California, is that it rains frequently.
