I think I'm more upset that Godot was a man. I was expecting a lady, even if he was fictional.

You're thinking of that other classic of French theatre, Waiting for Bardot.

This dude talking makes Sheldon Cooper's "Fun with Flags" sound like a WWE Cage Match in comparison. Wow. I think I fell asleep in the first 14 seconds.

"And here we see a worker flexing a pole. Over here.... we see a beam being escorted by two workers...."

SW Land construction was fascinating to me when it first began, but ever since the ROA was completed and the view was blocked by the show buildings I've lost interest. I do like the aerial photos though.

Hey now...
I met this guy at D23, and he's a perfect gentleman. I admit, I was a little put off my his videos at first, but I have come to actually appreciate and prefer his soothing narrations. They stand in direct opposition to the annoying "musings" of some other YT channels. Not to mention, this guy actually knows what he's talking about when it comes to the construction.

His attention to detail, not to mention how thorough he gets when comparing things with the SWL model, are reason enough to watch. I can see how he might not be for everyone, but there's always the mute button :)

Say... speaking of RoA. Wasn't DL's SWL supposed to have completely ruined RoA? How did that work out?

;)
Now, let's not kid ourselves. The river's shorter now, the feeling of being "away from it all" aboard the river craft has been diminished and another chunk of classic DL (both physically and emotionally) has bit the dust. That said, I think everyone agrees the Imagineers did an outstanding job of making the most of Iger's decree and minimizing the damage as much as possible. And the train now makes a left turn, which I am ridiculously happy about.
(EDIT) ...And I still say the ones who really got the short end of this deal are DL's horses, ousted from their home by Porgs and droids.

At least they no longer live at the Motel 6 in Garden Grove with the noisy ice machine down the hall. They got a great ranch in scenic Norco. It's the Anaheim Indian tribe that got short changed and didn't get to build their casino.

He could be the best guy in the whole wide world, but that doesn't mean he should be narrating videos.

Mute is the best feature in many a crappy video.

I totally get what you're saying. And you're welcome to express your opinion. Maybe in an ideal world, he'd make the videos, write the scripts and have a more professional voice actor do the narration. I thought the narration style was weak when I first saw his videos, but I've since grown fond of it. It fits in the serene "Mr. Rogers explains how crayons are made," nook in my brain.

Fair enough.

I guess I'm not bothered by it because I know he's genuine and not pretending to be a professional narrator and these videos (because I asked) are more of a bonding project with his daughter, Megan.

Back on topic...

Now, let's not kid ourselves. Those horses are treated better than royalty.
Yeah, but now they have to commute. Oh, well, at least the park still employs them. I'm dreading the day the Mouse Lawyers convince the Top Brass that live horses in DL are too much of a liability.

BTW, I'm so old I remember riding the Pack Mules. They were awesome... and a bit scary (which made them even more awesome). :D

So when do we think we ll see a restructured AP program in preparation for SWLs opening? I’m guessing April or May of this year as that would be a year out from the projected opening.
