I think you, me, and one girl from work are the only people that admit to liking the Titanic. When it came out I went to see it so many times, it was really sad.I try to use Titanic quotes whenever I can.

I honestly think they may be using a lot of interactive AA's and actors throughout, and then normal CM's "dressed up" will do the actual work.

Who are you!?
Very good. My rebel spies inform me that they are inviting CMs to sign the tallest steel beams this weekend before they are lifted into place. No doubt we'll see some pics/video in the weeks to come.
I like the concept of the Magic Band but it is overkill. I think they could easily get away with a paper wrist band with a RF chip in it as your ticket. It would be super cheap for Disney to do instead of making guests pay for a super expensive rubber wrist band. Everyone could benefit from it and you don't need a smart phone that gets wet.
What long range elements are in use today for the magic band?Well, the GWL system only does part of what a Magic Band does... the GWL system lacks the long range element and all the features Disney uses with that and the radio beacon.
And it doesn't have the same merchandising opportunities
PhotoPass linking of ride photos, the greeting effect on IASM and I'm sure there are others behind the scenes toward modeling guest traffic and behavior. What long range elements are in use today for the magic band?
I can see the photopass thing but when did they add a IASW greeting? Is it like ET? For the photopass don't they just scan your wrist band or ticket to like the picture?PhotoPass linking of ride photos, the greeting effect on IASM and I'm sure there are others behind the scenes toward modeling guest traffic and behavior.
Cute. I imagine the beams are "backstage" somewhere near Critter Country or Fantasyland so all the Disneyland CM's can go sign them. If so, I wonder if we couldn't see this CM spectacle via one of the video bloggers that go on top of the parking structure each weekend?
From the latest video from the wonderful ShesInLosAngeles, we can easily confirm that the last quadrant of the battle escape building, the big open space, is the First Order Star Destroyer hangar. I've flipped the concept art so you can see how well the angles match up: View attachment 217286 View attachment 217287
On ride photo pass... when you ride a ride with photos and you have a magic band the photos are linked to your account without your doing anything additional. For IASW, I haven't been there in a while, but it looks like they turned it off last fall. It would show your name at the end with a farewell message. I think they did it on HM too.I can see the photopass thing but when did they add a IASW greeting? Is it like ET? For the photopass don't they just scan your wrist band or ticket to like the picture?
Most times, you scan your Magic Band after exiting the attraction and it links it to your MDE. However, there are a few exceptions. Frozen, for example, links it automatically to your MDE (without tapping any touchpoint after the attraction). The photo just appears.I can see the photopass thing but when did they add a IASW greeting? Is it like ET? For the photopass don't they just scan your wrist band or ticket to like the picture?
