what do you mean by coins? what coins do you speak of? can you be more specific?
Coins were gone from the Smugglers Run queue as of last night. Hope they keep up the continual maintenance and don’t let it rot like WDW usually does.
I'm assuming people were tossing coins into the "pits" along the queue.what do you mean by coins? what coins do you speak of? can you be more specific?
ooooh ok. thanks for clarifiying. see? I knew idiots would start doing crap like that. I am glad they did put windows at the top of the falcon queue as you look over it so idiots cant throw things on it. You know how people say they barley spend any time in the falcon chess room as they wait to board the cockpit? I am starting to think that is by design so no one puts gum under the chess table or carves their names on it or something. Less time in there, the less damage they can do. I have issues with the falcon ride and queue but I appreciate someone's hard work and I hate when people vandalize someone's years of hard work ruining the ride for everyone.I'm assuming people were tossing coins into the "pits" along the queue.
I am indeed a local and will be checking it out every once and a while. I guess by the time I got my ball soda, I was beginning to crash and figured I'd drink it at home. It's currently in my fridge. The Cantina situation was unfortunate... if I had done the whole book a hotel room to get to visit during my stay and that happened, I would have been none too happy.Wow, amazed at some of your comments. No way I would have kept a warm Coke. And I would have taken it up to Vader himself to get in to the Cantina, if I had a reservation. I assume you're local, and will be back often.
As I understand it, the goal was to have a drink that everyone can drink (no dairy) and can drink anytime (icey). I can understand going that route... if it actually tasted good. Have you heard one person yet in a review go "WOW, THIS STUFF IS AWESOME, I'LL GET THIS EVERY TIME I COME!"? I'm just surprised that with all the thought that went into this stuff, this is the flavor they ended up with... it's as if they focused on everything other than making it taste good. You know what bugs me about the "blue milk" from what I have seen? It looks NOTHING like what Luke drinks in the original Star Wars! in that movie it has the consistency of actual milk hence why it was called Blue Milk to begin with. In the land it looks like a slushi you would get a a 7-11.
Oh absolutely, it's not 'iconic' but it's a detail many know of. I am a firm believer that it exists as it does now solely due to butter beer. With no butterbeer sold in Wizarding World, blue milk would be but a small side item at the restaurant and nothing more. They worked to make it iconic, overthought it way too much, and ended up with a dud.I just don't think Blue Milk is "iconic" and the same goes for Pepsi Perfect. I didn't watch Star Wars and think, "I'd like to drink that beverage." Of course, I didn't recall Butterbeer when I went to Universal Studios, but they delivered a pretty good product.
I do wonder about this... right now is as good as it gets... it will be a long time until the land is 'normal'. I personally don't think that the land will be a disaster right away starting the first day next week, but it will slowly creep up. The CMs will have to deal with it...What's terrifying about that is that this has been during the opening weeks, when the land has been on virtual lockdown with only a limited number of highly engaged and upbeat customers allowed into the land each day. They have four days left of that Utopian customer environment, and then the party is over and the masses will be allowed in at much higher numbers and rates of entry, many of whom will have no idea what they are doing or why in this new land.
Actually that is not what he says, he actually says "grab a churro and check out some of our other videos". But even if it was, so what? Again that is every Disney blogger out there. They all have their little tag lines, the good ones do anyways. And they all flaunt "Hey I'm at Disneyland and you're not". And people enjoy it because not everyone can go to Disneyland. So it gives people that want it the ability to get a Disney fix for free.yeah but fresh baked at the end of every video says " grab a churro and be amazed at all the fun we are having" aka "look at us being able to enjory disneyland because you cant"
I don't care if it is actual dairy or not just make it look like how it did in the film. THAT is what people actually want. I have not tried it yet but going on the reviews I have read some love it some hate it. There in no in between. some say it tastes better mixed but you have to do it yourself. Disney can't even sell a mixed slushi? Even 7-11 can do that!As I understand it, the goal was to have a drink that everyone can drink (no dairy) and can drink anytime (icey). I think you are misunderstanding me. I was defending the other poster pointing out fresh baked's name more so than the others that you tried to argue. The reason I was defending it is because fresh baked goes out of their way of saying they are having more fun than you are by saying it in the closing of every video. ok so i got part of the qoute wrong but they do say " see all the fun we are having" aka "we are at disney and you are not". of course all the other vloggers do the same stuff but fresh baked was singled out because they signal it out themselves. that is all.Actually that is not what he says, he actually says "grab a churro and check out some of our other videos". I know someone posted HelloGreedo's review of GE a few pages back, so I thought this might be worth posting too:
I'm sure to us its more the location and overall fit into the park, but for more casual theme park fans, it might cause a few eyebrows to raise. Is that the really the issue though- the OT? Most people here just care if it works in Disneyland or not?
I mean, I don't think most people have a problem with it, but I've definitely seen some complaints about a lack of Han Solo, Darth Vader, Tatooine, etc.Is that the really the issue though- the OT? Most people here just care if it works in Disneyland or not.

"Hey! Let's go to the new Star Wars Land, I hear its awesome!"
"OK! Can't wait to see Han Solo"
"... Oh, he's not there."
"OK, well, then Luke and Leia will be fine."
"... Oh, they're not there either."
"OK... well, at least Darth Vader! I mean, he's such an iconic character."
"Nope."
"Lando?"
"Nope."
"Obi-Wan?"
"Now you're just being ridiculous."
"Why are we going again?"
"I hear you can buy blue milk!"
"... alright, fair point. Let's go!"
When Disney remakes the Original Trilogy--and they will-- it would be simple to bring Luke, Han , Vader and the rest to GE.
Does anyone have any good tips as far as order of activities for the 2-6pm time slot this Saturday? I know that 3-5pm should be the best two hours in the land. We want to ride the Millennium Falcon at least two times, try some of the food and snacks, check out the shops and my bro in law wants to build a droid.
We wanted to do the cantina too but that doesn’t sound feasible.
I saw someone on Twitter today complain about the lack of overall color in GE. Said it felt like walking into a sepia-toned movie.
Anyone who's been wanna chime in on that?
Aren't there supposed to be waterfalls near ROTR?It could definitely use a body of water, like Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland. Helps cool down the area and make it seem more inviting.
