...Well, alright then. Good talk everyone.
Back to business.
Back to business.
True but at least the dinner theatre could be worth the charge.
As long as the dinner theatre doesn't have its budget severely cut and become a hollow shell of the concept promised to us. My biggest worry going forward with Disneyland projects is that because Galaxy's Edge performed so poorly and had such a big budget that Chapek will be scared to invest large amounts of money back into the park and lead to cheap expansions.
Well then he would be a moron. It’s not getting good reiviews because of everything he cut.
Back OT, why isn't BB-8 found anywhere in Star Wars Land?
I was defending your right not to answer so why did you qoute me as if I was attacking you?I'm just watching. You guys are obsessed. For the record, I haven't ran away. I'm still here. A lot of assumptions are being made. It's as if by answering the questions, you'll really understand. Maybe you should try understanding my arguments instead of finding out other reasons to discredit me. This is getting personal. I was already insulted by Tror and suddently that portion of the dialog was completely deleted, likely by the moderator.
Carry on. You keep doing what you enjoy doing.
Lol. We are not the same person. My main gripe is the ramp, and the land should've also included ot characthers on top of the newer characthers since it is a theme park land afterall, instead of going for total immersion, in which half of the immersive elements they cut out of the budget anyway thus ruining their own goal. I am not one of those who said "a star wars land doesn't belong at Disneyland". I was looking forward to it then it came out they were limiting themselves by forcing it to be set in the new sequel timeline. Then they cut half of the immersive things. Then the stupid gobbledygook the castmembers say was found out etc. No one says "May the Force be with you" anywhere in the land!!! Not even at Savvi's!!!!! How can this be in a Star Wars land???! I think they failed at what they did. They can still correct it and make the land good if they open their massive check book and stop being cheap and stop the immersive crap and make it a general land that is a celebration of all of star wars. Yeah i think not making it on a knwon star wars planet was a mistake but not that big of a mistake if they had allowed luke and others to roam around.Wait a minute...
Didn't someone once accuse you and him of being the same person?!?!?! It makes your rush to defend him that much more suspect...
Apparently it's a thing, at least for La Jolla trophy wives. Is your grocery store also in La Jolla, by chance?
I just checked Amazon and it's there under the search "Star Wars Windshield Sun Shade". They also have a BB-8 one. They don't sell any that have Poe, Finn, Ray, Fa, So, La, Ti or Do. Only the original 1970's/80's characters, and BB-8 who appears to be the only recent character people like. I'm dumb and old, and even I know and like BB-8.
You would think Mr. Chapek, Scott Trowbridge, and WDI in general would've realized that by just a quick Amazon search before they built their Billion Dollar Star Wars Land that has none of those characters except Chewie In Mourning over Han Solo's death, but alas, here we are.
Back OT, why isn't BB-8 found anywhere in Star Wars Land? He was there in the concept art a few years ago, but is entirely absent from the land here in 2019. Seriously, Mr. Chapek, is there anything likable that you didn't cut?!?
Oh he's in there, but he's made of plastic and you have to pay $100 to put him together yourself ;-). In all seriousness though, I really wish there was a life size BB-8 rolling around the land, there are fans who create full size, metal, movie accurate recreations of R2-D2 and BB-8 that actually light up and move and make noises just for their love of the franchise but Disney can't be bothered to have any roaming the parks. But hey, if you pay Disney $25,000 they will build one for you!
That droid design is honestly ugly. If they do ever add droids to Galaxy's Edge, I hope they don't have such poor designs.I wonder when this droid will be at star wars land:
A droid named ‘Jake’ roams Disneyland. Will this and other droids follow you around in Star Wars land?
Just a day after The Walt Disney Co. released a trailer for its latest “Star Wars” movie, Disneyland dropped a major hint of what might inhabit Star Wars land: Galaxy’s Edge in 20…www.ocregister.com

There’s no reason to not have R2-D2 and C-3PO in the land. Their lack of presence in the sequels have been the biggest flaw in the trilogy so far.Yeah I really don't like that droid design, it genuinely feels like they're trying to make a Star Wars experience without any of the recognizable aspects of Star Wars, if they are gonna put a droid (or hopefully droids) why not use BB model droids if they are so keen on implementing everything from the sequels, although that could be harder to control in the streets so then why not just use an R2 model droid it doesn't even have to be R2-D2
If you've seen the video of a droid like Jake at WDW, the kids are hanging on him, trying to stop him, etc... Notice the large base so he can't be pushed over or run over some kid's toes. I think for the lawyers, we'd get more like Jake and not many like BB8 or C3P0.
A 3PO costumed character might be too difficult to swing (you'd need a performer skinny enough to wear the outfit AND to a decent Daniels impression, to say nothing of how precarious the costume would be and the limited movement.)
Has there ever been a 3PO costumed performer of any kind at a Disney park? I feel like we could easily forgive the performer for being not quite as tiny as 3PO in the movie, as long as they got the movements down.
