I don't get the dinner theater experience. Exactly what part of Star Wars are they trying to fulfill? I would rather they use the space for Jedi Academy training with a Jedi Council. A hourly 30 minute show with interaction with Jedi afterwards.

Disney released this artwork in February, 2016 on the Disneyland 60 TV special, and it was used in the Lutz column today.

It was going to be a supper club type experience, with a band and girl singers and such. And apparently C3PO as our host.

At D23 Expo 2015, when Mr. Chapek was brand new to his Parks job, he used this artwork in public as he described a table service restaurant.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I was referring to Docking Bay 7

The Jabba the Hut style dining experience. Dimly lit booths, weird food, booze, exotic dancers, Muppets, etc. I think it could be really cool if done right

Jedi Council? Do you want to put people to sleep?

Didn’t they used to have another Star Wars show in Tomorrowland? Or am I imagining confusing this with something else?

I finally got to experience the land and I have to say that I love it.............for taking a few people off the the paths and queues in Disneyland proper. That would've maybe been better accomplished by throwing it in DCA but, since it is where it is, I will have to settle for that one positive. And, I almost forgot, it's a shortcut from Fantasyland to Splash and HM.

Who would have thought when I purchased my AP in early March that I only would have about 6 weeks to check out ROTR?

Most people seemed to think SW:GE would open sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Which is exactly when RotR is opening.

So the answer is “most people”.

No. Nobody thought this in March.

We had a guess the opening date thread from May 2018.

So yes, they did!

That's DHS. DL was thought to be about 6 months ahead of DHS and it was assumed for a long time DL's would open summer 2019.

Umm, since Disney announced a late fall opening for SW:GE at DHS, and fall goes until December 21st, Disney is falling right in with their timeline for full opening of the land. Anyone thinking any different was simply wrong, and making any plans that they "might" open anything sooner is ludicrous. The fact that the majority of the land is opening 3 months EARLY is a bonus for a lot people. They could've waited until December to open the entire land, and would not have been wrong with their announced timeline.
