You're not allowed to think anything positive about it on here, just guess a load of negatives and discuss those.

What happens if there's a fire, will everyone get a refund within 1 day?
What if somebody gets ill, will the medics who turn up ruin the immersion?
What if a guest dies, will they refuse to release the body till the end of the cruise?
What if a hurricane rips off the roof during role play, will the CM's continue to act or break character?
What if a serial killer gets in the hotel, will that stop us going to Galaxies Edge?
What if food poisoning kills half the guests, will the survivors be able to continue on or will Disney force them to stop?
What if a stunt performer breaks his leg upsetting my kid, do we get $3,000 back for the potential PTSD?
What if I soil my costume, will a CM discretely bring me a new one within 10 seconds and if not will I get a full refund?
What if I enjoy it even though I only went after hearing how terrible it was from people who haven't experienced it. Will I get a full refund as I'll look a bit stupid having to admit I actually liked it?

Get the idea? :D

I don't remember seeing anyone say anything remotely like this. The only discussions I've seen are about things that are almost guaranteed to happen at some point (like Rise being down).

I just can't imagine a scenario where they ask you to shell out a park ticket for something that wad supposed to be included. Not to mention, people who drop $6k on this are the exact demo they want to go back and spend a second day walking through the shops.

Oh I don't disagree with you, I just don't believe Disney would ever hand out a free park ticket because Rise is down.

It's such an idiotic mistake for them to make, since they invented and wrote all these rules about themed entertainment themselves decades ago.

And you're right, it's a problem with the current crop of youngsters. They want to prove on Social Media how cool they are, so they overshare and reveal all their secrets. It ruins their own product before it even opens. They seem to only care about Likes from strangers.

But not only did they make this bonehead mistake their own company rulebook tells them not to, they kept at it and released more videos on YouTube over and over until actual hotel bookings started getting cancelled.

These people currently in charge, from the Imagineers to the Burbank executives, are... not bright.
It feels like... they drove away all the geniuses and experts in all that lol.
I mean, it feels like they tried so hard to drive away the top last remaining imagineers....

Put 'em to work stitching up lightsaber carrying cases. "STORY CHOICE: Help the Resistance carry their most important tool in saving the galaxy from the First Order!"
Chapek be like: "This is disgusting.. I LOVE IT.... "
Mightynine: "Great, what do I get for my idea"
Chapek: "Eeeh, well let you buy an extra Genie+ LL "
Mightynine: "wait .. what?"
Chapek leaves finger gunning you while smiling awkwardly.

In the Parks
No
Yeah but the one video they did send out from Chandrila Star Line was cringe inducing.

Pre-butting an insanely dumb position doesn't make it correct. Of course cruises can't guarantee specific excursions due to things like storms or countries refusing entrance due to covid, which is happening right now.

Imagine getting on a 7 day cruise and then finding out your ship isn't allowed at any of the planned ports? It's happened.

Just like buying tickets to a park and half their rides are closed due to thunder storms, let alone the one ride you were looking forward to isn't working.

Read the fine print and deal with the real world. No company will guarantee a specific ride will be working. They *may * offer some compensation tho.
Yup, but they offer alternatives. Most of the times they find a different port, and activities on board remain active.
I'd be ed if they did what NCL did (cancel all their live shows, since one entertainment staff somehow got covid despite restrictions)

Another thought - if they stick to the 8:45-9:30 window for the ROTR visit, that is really going to clog up the morning waits for this ride for non-hotel guests.

Good point! All the Starcruiser folks do their "shore excursion" all at the same time; HUNDREDS of folks get in the queue of Rise, all at once!! This will make a Brazilian tour group look like nothing...

So eager to take a turn at bat to pile on that you make unforced errors and wind up posting foolishness.

The occupants of the starcruiser can only show up one busload at a time. Even if it's one of those double long buses, that's only 100 people at a time arriving at Batuu from the starcruiser at a rate of maybe every 20 minutes (to allow for the bus's round trip).

The two rides in Batuu each have a capacity of about 1,700 people per hour. Let's even lowball it and say that practically it's only 1,000 PPH.

So, if 100 elite guests get into the Lightning Lane and hold up the regular line, how long will that back up last? Six minutes for the 100 of them. And the next busload isn't showing up for another 14 minutes.

And that's assuming they all make a beeline to just one ride and don't meander or split themselves up between the rides.

The four busloads of guests will barely be a blip in the line for the rides.

I was thinking the ride won't even be open before the Starcruiser guests show up. I'd expect them to be the first riders in the morning.

That neatly sidesteps all issues except the ride not functioning. However, as you said, even if every single Starcruiser room was filled to max capacity you'd only be looking at about 500 people. They aren't going to have a huge effect regardless.
