Star Wars Episode III

So who else is going to see Episode III at midnight?
I've had my ticket for almost a month.
Pathetic? Yeah, but what are you gonna do.
At least I won't be dressing up like I know some religiously obsessed people will be.
That's half the fun right there, seeing all the geeks in their glory.
This movie should be very good though, not as good as the original trilogy but should definitely be better than the two new ones.

I'm in high school in Massachusetts and I have the biggest test of all my years in school all this week. The MCAS. If I don't pass it I can't graduate. I was laughing when they were saying get a good nights sleep and all that. Oh well. I should be all right.

Unfortunately, I've got a mega final on Thursday morning, so I can't see the midnight showing. I'm planning on seeing it as soon as possible after the final, though.

Is it sad that I had a dream last night that I went to see the midnight showing at DTD and stayed for Star Wars weekends?

Yay geeks! ;)

I will be seeing it at a large theater in the area at midnight dressed in a very expensive Jango Fett costume. A Darth Vader costume would probably make more sense for this film but I dressed as Darth for Episode 2

I would have died to have seen it at midnight. I told people that we were going to see it at the midnight show, tickets went on sale and everyone backed out on me. they all want to wait until it comes out on dvd, even though I offered to pay for the ticket. So now I am going to the 9am showing alone, and everyone now asks why am I going alone? My plan is to tell them all about the movie right after it is out. Plus we leave for Disney on Saturday afternoon so I will be in full Star Wars mode for Sundays parade.

no need to go out of our way to see it. even though the reviews have been ok, they're being compared to the past two movies. which where well, awful. I'm gonna see it eventually, but I aint payin for it.

Really? The only review I've heard was from the Two Thumbs Up guys and they said it was so much better than the first two new ones and they both gave it Thumbs Up.

I don't know what review you read, but I saw it and loved it and it is absolutlely nothing like the first 2!

I'm probably going to a midnight showing to see it. Not sure how that's going to work for Thursday morning, however. ;) If it doesn't work out, I am going to a company-sponsored private showing on Saturday morning.

I’ve had my ticket to the midnight premiere since they became available and on Thursday I’ll be heading to WDW for SW weekends. It is going to be a full tilt Star Wars geek weekend.
