Found out friends were going to a 10:30pm showing. Bought a ticket for that one too. Now, the question is, which one will I cancel? Or maybe be crazy and go to both!
Go to both. I plan on spending the 20th at the theater seeing the movie 2-3 more times.

I am quite happy that the first screening we have is at 7:00 PM on the 17th. Those midnight screenings make the day after quite a chore.
I've booked the day off work :)

This way, I get to watch the film minutes after its release with my daughter AND I then get to watch it later that evening with the wife.

Wonder if the cats are doing anything Friday !!!

Unlike 1977, I'm no longer in the 3rd grade. My sleeping patterns have changed and I have work the next morning. Will I have the stamina?
They have stuff for that.;)

I think it's doable. A 7pm time means the movie won't start until approx 7:30 because of previews, etc. Two hours and 15 minutes later is 9:45pm. The 10:30pm movie is at an AMC theatre across town. Even if I get there "late", the 10:30 movie won't start until about 11:00pm.

Although it will be 10 days since an outpatient surgery. So, I could still be a little sore.

That was the plan for me had a midnight screening been the first showing, but the other 4 people going with me had no such luxury. My wife has to be at work at 6:00 AM the following day, daughter #2 just started a new job and has to be there at 8:00 AM and daughter #3 just started high school and can't miss even a day with her work load.

I bet your post surgical instructions tell you to "take it easy". What could be easier than watching a movie? As I see it, you are just obeying the doctor's orders.;)

Isn't it rude to yell at people that late at night? ;)
