Star Tours 2.0 destination list started!!!!

Good start but nothing new.

The first, third and sixth are Tatooine.
Second, fifth and eighth are Coruscant.
Forth and tenth are Endor
Seventh and ninth are Alderaan

I wonder how much each destination ride will vary from one another. Like will we encounter a comet on our way to Endor again? Will we dodge space junk above Coruscant?

I do worry that if Alderaan is a new destination that we're going to have too much of Episodes 1-3 in the ride and too little of the originals. Still I'm looking forward to the revamped ride being open next year when I make my next trip back.

Hehehe... As faar as I know it's just going to Tatooine. Can I just saw it's pretty funny that the status for all Alderaan-bound flights is "See Agent" (How do you explain THAT flight delay) and all Endor flights are "Delayed" (maybe to remove those Red Tags from every Cptn. Rex in the fleet?).

The attraction will go to different locations (this has been talked about on the Disney Parks Blog I believe). It is going to be a random attraction, meaning that you will not ride the same ride twice (at least in a row). There will be 3 different parts and the computer will change each flight to go to different locations. There will be easter eggs (think of how your game system can change with the holiday seasons at times) and some lucky guest will be picked out as a Rebel spy by Load Vader during some of the flights.

Also this attraction now takes place between Ep. 3 and Ep. 4, so as we have seen in some of the art that has come out you will see things such as the work on the first Death Star and Alderaan will be fine. Plus you will see Courscant post Jedi but during the rise of the Emperor. Also you will have to be on the look out for a few Wookiees during some of the flights! Also you will want to be on the look out for one of the fastest ship that has ever done the Kessel Run jettisoning its cargo! And YES you will take part in a Pod Race as seen in the teasers put out by the Parks blog, but it will not be the only thing you do!

Yes they have, that is why it is just the start of the list. The Parks Blog will be expanding it more soon.

It would be a start, but not the potter killer. They would need to expand with more attractions and theme the place like nothing else.

I'm not even a huge fan of the series but have still always loved the idea of a Star Wars "land" at DHS.....

I've always thought slightly expanding the Star Tours area would be crowd pleasing. I figured if you just made that Backlot Cafeteria a Cantina theme, it would expand the area and people would love it. I love DHS and hope it does expand sometime in the future. I could see them really expanding the Pixar area because how popular Pixar is. You could wipe out that Backlot Tour, that's a total snoozer since they changed it.
