SSE Paper boy

I just got back from my trip and noticed that the SSE paper boy is back.

The Musicians in the Renaissance Scene are back as well.

In addition, the Paper Boy has new dialogue and new movements. He is still facing away from the omnimover cars.

Maybe he has a really horrible looking face and they don't want to scare any of the riders off the ride. :animwink:

You can see part of his face when he moves though.

yes.. it's almost as if he is peeking at you towards the end of his speil..

Yeah, Disney doesn't want to make this a "thrill" ride by showing the paperboy's face :ROFLOL:

I still do not understand the logic of putting him back in if he is not "fixed" yet.

I think he is fixed, and his head turns now slightly apparently. But they want him looking at the new backdrop instead of riders, I guess. At least he is back with new dialogue and somewhat moves, even if it is a bit creepy. Yes pictures would be great! :wave:, did any of you notice any other enhancements? Or is the descent still in shoddy shape.

Looks like he has really good movement now even though facing the other way. Thanks for the vid link.

Thanks for the link! He has a great amount of movement, but I still don't get why he's facing away from the riders. :veryconfu :shrug:

Maybe he's facing the other way because after all these years, not one of the riders on SSE has ever bought a paper, so he's trying his luck in the other direction.

He's nervous about making eye contact, fearful Disney might fire him for leaving a gun in his car while at work.
