SSE dreams?

Anyone else have any crazy dreams about Spaceship Earth being open and getting to ride it?

I'm tellin ya, if i'm psychic and my dreams reflect reality, it'll be very nifty in that old sphere. I don't remember much, but i did like it

Anyone else? Or is this my own brand of crazy?

Sometimes i wish i was a roller coaster person. I've felt quite left out with Everest and all the current Space Mountain rumors.

Um, I can't believe I'm answering this thread...

I've had 2 dreams about SSE's refurb, one when it was announced, and one last week (I can't believe I'm sharing this....my level of lunacy has no bounds).

I woke up from this first one in a cold sweat, like from a nightmare (even more embarrassing!). In it I was riding SSE by myself and all the beautiful AAs were replaced with cardboard cutouts of the characters (I specifically remember Peter Pan and The Incredibles...no, I don't know why).

I became very upset and it was all of a sudden time to exit the attraction. I laid into the CM, and I remember getting really worked up in the dream. The I woke up as I mentioned before.

As if that weren't bad enough...

As I said, I just had another dream last week (good lord, I can't believe I'm actually sharing this...). I was actually just talking to my sister the other day about how weird it is for me to have 2 dreams about this refurb, and remember them both!

Anyway, in this dream, I for some reason (don't laugh!) was supposed to pose for a picture at the top of SSE (a la Mickey in the old promos) with....

...okay, this is embarrassing, and I don't know why this is, but Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and some guy I work with. I freaked out while climbing the ladder to the final portion (who knew there were landings and levels on a sphere?), and saw an open door and went in. There was a CM there, and since the attraction looked nearly finished (and huge) I asked if I could ride "sure, it's opening on Dec. 1", she said. Here's where I know I'm weird when this place ends up in my dreams. My reply, "Wow, everyone on the message boards thinks it's opening in February!"

I know...I still can't believe I'm sharing. Remind me never to go to a meet .

Anyway, you know how one thing ends and suddenly you're somewhere else? Suddenly I was riding...unfortunately, I don't remember anything about what I saw in the dream. I can still remember what it felt like, but not anything my mind created for the good ole dream.

So there that is. Sadly, I can't make this stuff up. These were two, honest -to-goodness dreams...I still remember them vividly. SSE has always been my favorite attraction, and apparently I'm either excited, concerned, or both about this refurb!

When I saw this subject line I couldn't believe it, because just four days ago I too had a dream and I wanted so bad to post it here but didnt where really know where or how to bring it up. But im thrilled that Im not the only one.
Its sort of hazy now the dream, but I do remember boarding the new SSE and clearly hearing Judy Dench, it was dark and there were hundreds of sparkling stars overheard and she said welcome aboard spaceship earth, your journey into the past and future has begun.
She sounded fantastic and I felt like I was there.
The rest of it I dont remember too well except for hearing music and zipping around, yes zipping around lol it was fast unfortunately but there were all these mirrors and hanging prisms and large spaces with globes floating and stuff. I know wierd. But even though it was all somewhat off, it did make me excited and now I really cant wait. I have had dreams about Horizons before and others so I hope to have more about SSE. Heres to our dreams and what we have conjured up, as I hope it turns out to be super majestic and even more iconic than before.
I do worry about the descent being all on monitor with nothing else but black curtains hanging to hide space, but hopefully that thought will be proven wrong! :xmas:

That didn't even occur to me, but I REALLY hope they don't go that route, that would be really unfortunate!

Well should know that SSE is the only thing I remember from my first trip as a 6 year old, and though I love the ride now, it scared the bejesus out of me then. I thought I was going to fall out.
But when it first shut down this year, I dreamed that it reopened and the cars were like the swinging gondolas in the Sun Wheel on Paradise Pier in DCA -- the ONLY ride I've ever been on that scared me to the point that I guarantee I will never go on it again. Ever.
AND they spun. So the cars swang and spun all the way down globe, and I was trapped in there with my boyfriend's cousin who(m?) I am not a big fan of.

Soo that was a weird one.

this following dream sequence is not a wish for the ride its just what my crazy gf dreamed up.


my girlfriend had a dream where the entrance of SSE is in MK. when you entered the ride it went underground and then shot into the ball. after you were in the ball it was like a roller coaster, then she exited into the park and rode horizons.
