Hi Tramp! Yes, Spybot S&D is the best spyware remover available right now. Ad-Aware used to be the best, but for some reason, they have not provided updates for a long time now. Ad-Aware is supposed to come out with version 6, but I'm not holding my breath. Also Ad-Aware in is current version can actually be a danger to your computer because of some flaws that cause it to improperly remove some new spyware. Thanks for making users aware of Spybot S&D!

Ad-aware 6.0 has now been released. It looks pretty good but is much slower than the previous version. It now has the "XP" look. As usual, it comes in three flavors, free, super and super duper! It seems to have cleared up the dangerous problems asociated with the old version. Also, they got rid of the status bar.

Just watch out for the false positives and you should be OK.

Check out the new Spybot S&D 1.2! It now has a new "immunize" feature that stops about 185 Active-X controls. The server has been swamped for a few days so it may take extra time to download this gem.
