Spur of the Moment Trip - Magical Express question..

Everyone:

Due to having to go down to Tampa on business in a couple of weeks, the wife and I may take a spur of the moment trip to Disney. We already have tickets left over from trips past. However, if were to book at a resort property for our stay, would we be able to use the Magical Express and not have to rent a car/take a shuttle??

I seem to remember some sort of time cut off with ME.....

There is a time cut off to receive your tickets and yellow bag tags in the mail. If you book this shortly, you shouldnt have any problem!!! Have a great time!!! Belle

Just call, you might not get your tags in tim, but when you go to the counter you can give them a description and the numbers from your airline for baggage claim and they will show up. Good Luck :wave:

Magical Express will get you and your luggage from the Orlando Airport to your Disney resort and back again.

How are you going to get to Tampa and back? or is your Tampa trip before or after your Disney trip?

If you don't get your luggage tags in time take a picture of your bags and print it out before leaving home. You can give that to DME to make finding your bags easier.

Tampa would be after Disney. I'll take a rental to Tampa and drop it off. I plan to fly out of Tampa as well.

Just a note that DME must be reserved at least 10 days in advance. (I believe that's part of the contract Disney has with the airport to appease the other transportation options at MCO... Pre-registered Guests only, no walk-ups) You more than likely won't get your luggage tags, but others have already mentioned the process for handling that contingency.
