So I was just reading up on the expansion and came across screamscape who said the restaurants were open and had a few pictures of the drinks from Moe's. Anyone else got pictures?

Its actually a little disappointing. With the exception of Moe's, everything else is really just a facade and the restaurant is more akin to the Sunshine Seasons setup. The Android's Dungeon is just a facade with nothing inside. Still much more interesting than what was there, though.

I agree, so far it really is just a revamped food court, replacing what was there. But ill hold off on judge the expansion until it is fully open. Just like Im doing with the New Fantasyland.

I read somewhere that the Android's Dungeon is actually the bathroom area.

We've known this since the start of the project. Most of the heavy theming is Moe's/the waterfront.

Krusty Burger is more than a facade as well. There isn't much to it, but it looks the way you'd expect a fast food joint to look. Cletus' and Android's are the only facades with no real substance behind them.

Speaking of which, I'm hoping they add a window display to Android's. That seems like the least they could do. I wish they'd enclose it so it looked more like a real building though. You'd still be able to get to the restrooms.

I agree. I don't like that you can walk around to the other side of the windows for no real reason. I don't think pictures of you being "in the store" would turn out well. It would work much better as display windows with items from the store in the show on display.

I hate being negative about new attractions before i've experienced them but... It looks a bit boring. Sure, Moe's will be awesome, however there are hardly any new attractions. None that are original ideas anyway!

I'm sure we will all get a few cool photo opportunities out of it, but that's about it! :( They need a few more rides in my opinion.

They're opening Transformers, building a flat ride for Springfield, and building Gringotts and Hogwarts Express.

What else do you want?

As usual, someone gets defensive/ obnoxious and takes it personal. If you actually READ what i posted, i was talking about the springfield land, not all of universal. And i said the ride doesn't look original. My opinion, don't like it then byeee.

How was my response obnoxious? Because I pointed out how ridiculous your post was?

Not every attraction is going to be an E-ticket blockbuster. Smaller attractions like the Kang and Kodos spinner are needed to flesh out the park and create smaller diversions. It's theme park 101, and something both Universal parks have been missing for years now.

Plus the fact that the Simpsons expansion was basically to just make one of the ugliest parts of the park ( besides TF, heh heh...) and make it an attractive place to sit, eat, eat a donut or drink a duff.

Obnoxious is someone pretending a spinner is *supposed* to be earth shattering. That wasn't the goal of this expansion.

If you find Springfield boring, perhaps you can lift your spirits by riding the THREE new E-tickets the park will have come next year.

If it turns out that the ride is an octopus ride, rather than a Dumbo-like spinner, then, although it may not be "earth shattering", it will be something different for the Orlando parks - Fun Spot or other smaller parks may have an octopus ride, but WDW and USO don't have an octopus ride. I don't know whether SeaWorld does, I doubt it, but I've not spend that much time in Shamu's Happy Harbor, so there could be one there - but it could be something new and different to ride, even if it may not be a major addition.

I said it was unoriginal, not earth shattering my dear. My opinion, get over it.
