OK- I'm bumping this thread b/c I'm thoroughly ticked off that it's March 3rd and it still feels like winter. I know 27 degrees w/a 15 degree wind chill is probably a nice balmy day for some of you after the winter you've been having, but that's absurdly cold for Houston at this time of year. And of course my 'wonderful' completely keyless system in my vehicle seems to hate cold weather.. Thankfully, I didn't get locked out this time.

In any event...before this weather came through yesterday...we were having lovely temps - in the 70s We're always a little late in planting our garden...but sitting in our kitchen right now is a physical is a big sign of spring.

Yes, those are the new veggies and herbs for our garden.

Very excited...softball is canceled tonight!!! Woohoo!!! Nothing like trying to get a bunch of 5-7 yr olds to play a spring time sport in 30 degree temps.
