Nibbs - DH and I were just talking about a trip to Anaheim and San Diego in the late summer/early fall... We just may see you there!!!

Oh, you so should go! That would be so fun! We could explore together! :D

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY.

And I sort of don't hate it.

Umm...what happened to Connor?

I went ALL the way downtown for the signing. Bought my book, went & bought a sandwich to eat in line, walked around for a few minutes, got in line...only to find out that you have to have a stinkin wristband to stand in line for the signing. Only people w/ a wristband could get a signing. They'd run out of bands 2 hours prior and this was still 5 hours before she was starting. NEVERMIND that they still had signs up al over the store saying she'd be signing @ 7pm on the 4th floor and NOTHING about a limited number. They should've taken the signs down.

Oh Steph, I"m so sorry. That stinks big time. They definitely should have said something about limited number of wristbands. I would complain to the manager! (But that's just me)

Hi! Done with shopping...spent WAY more than I should have.

Hi Bun! How was the rest of your stay in CT?

Hello Fishy! We made it home in one piece.... not before the old fuddy-duddies got to me though...:brick::brick:

It was a bus trip, and it's with a group of senior citizens that my uncle knows from the city. I was the youngest person there, and my mom was the next youngest :dazzle:

We always watch movies on the bus on the way home. For several years now I've put up with their AWFUL choices in films.

The Wedding Crashers
The Ugly Dashound
All 6 discs of the best of Johnny Carson
Yakkov Smirnov

Well, this year I beat them to it, and suggested that we watch Rattatouille, which I had brought with me.

I stuck it in..... and complaints started rolling in. "We just ate! Why would we want to watch a movie about RATS?" "It's a DISNEY film... it's for kids" "Why can't we watch anything else?" "Oh it's so disgusting..."

Pretty soon the entire bus was just yakking anyways, (some were snoring, as old people tend to do) and I couldn't hear it myself, because they complained loudly that it was too loud.

Some people. I just wish they'd be a little more open minded. I almost cried on the bus on the way home - some of their comments really hurt me. :brick::brick::brick::brick:

Doing good. It feels good to be home.. even if it doesn't look like I left it.

It looks like Jenny and Abby will be joining us on Friday night! :sohappy:
Seriously? I thought they were staying in a hotel?

Well, I guess I can manage the couch for one night. :D I'll deal... (Or are they staying both nights like me?)

They're just so closed-minded, and that is SUCH a pet peeve of mine :brick:

They changed their plans, and are now leaving earlier. They won't be with us for dinner, but will still be there before bedtime! :sohappy:

Don't let them get to you Bun.

I'm over it now... it's just that I was really tired yesterday, and they kept going on and on and on and on and on.... some of them were just so abrasive!! I thought old people were all sweetness and cookies and stuff. Not these apparently.

Next time I'll bring a DVD of Matlock
