Spring break v/s fall break at Disney

I was just wondering if spring break of fall break would be a better time to go to Disney. I turn the big 40 next Feb and my DD turns 11 in March so I was thinking about a Birthday trip for Spring break. We normally go in Oct and we love it then, but I was trying to move it up a little. Would it be worth it or should I wait? We have been there for Spring break before and I think it was much busier but I don't really remember. I was to wrapped up in the Magic I guess. What do you think?

It will certainly be more crowded in the Spring, without question. But you said it yourself, you get so wrapped up in the Magic even in the crowded spring- so it might be worth it instead of waiting several extra months.

Definately more crowded over spring break especially if your break is the week before or after Easter. If your spring break isn't either of those weeks the crowds are managable and the park hours may be longer than in October.

Go October

Spring break can be a nightmare especially around Easter. Been there, done that. October is a better month, good weather, smaller, manageable crowds. Been there, done that too!:sohappy:

Spring break will defintally be more busy. I would reccomend fall break, you might even be able to get free dining.. if you can wait that long! I know the waiting is unbearable lol, you just want to go now!!

As someone who works in the school system in Alabama, let me warn you that there is a bill being considered in Alabama to change the school calendar. It's an attempt to get all schools on the same or very similar schedules. It is quite possible if this happens that we will lose fall break. Not in the books yet, but I understand that the administrators are all talking about it.
