I am sorry but I am enjoying this short series, every episode you learn more about some main character past events, and there always seems to be some major shock event. Its a slow build folks, in a series you can take that time to build, unlike a movie.

I will say one plot twist has me majorly confused. Talos stated they have been Nick Fury's agents and supply of info for years. Which I get could be a huge edge, but didn't they leave at end of Capt. Marvel to find their own world? Maybe I missed where they said they came back after failing, not sure

They recon'd it a bit I believe, to say they were looking for other refugee Skrulls across the universe but then returned. And as was explained in the end credit scene of Far From Home, they have been working with Fury on the SABER base in space post blip. We'll see more of that in the Marvels in Nov.

So this show just expands it to show more of the backstory of how the Skrulls have been helping Fury all this time.

Or she turned herself back to Skrull form to trick him? Or someone saves her right after he leaves?

Lots of possibilities.
Upcoming trailer major major spoiler for ep. 4....

Gi'ah is alive since she appears in the trailer. So, either that wasn't Gi'ah. Or the reason she wouldn't turn around is because she had a bullet proof vest on and used shapeshifting to appear dead, or she took the genetic manipulation for super powers and can heal from Extremis, or some other comic booky thing.

Some shows you "have on" while you do chores or look at your phone or just use for background noise and an occasional distraction. Other shows require you to actually "watch." This is a show you watch.

If you aren't enjoying it I say , stop watching.
Andor didn't hook me in two episodes so I stopped.
There is plenty more on streaming to choose from.
If I could suffer through She-Hulk (which was atrociously bad), I can get through this being merely disappointing for the sake of keeping up with the universe.

Wow, what an episode.

I knew she wasn’t dead.

The super powers are starting, intensity is rising, and the death count continues.
Looks like it's going to be a Gavik/Gi'ah superbrawl in the end. Just like all Marvel shows, it's a battle of hero and villain with the same powerset.*

*Not really, but a meme's a meme! Now, bring on the sky beam!!!

It's now retreading on itself - yet again massively telegraphing a character's death in advance. I mean both Maria and Talos might as well have said they were really looking forward to going fishing after their imminent retirement from the force. :banghead:

And yet again Gravik shooting people in the chest.

Disappointed by this one. But I'll stick it out to the end because Marvel.

I think Iger is right that it's time to slow the rollout of these series. I thought season one of Andor was excellent. I thought Mando, Falcon & Winter Soldier, Ms. Marvel and the Guardians Holiday Special were really good. But honestly, I could have done without everything made for Disney+ except Andor, Mando and Guardians and been fine. And I say that as a massive Marvel fan and only slight Star Wars fan (who has no interest in watching Ahsoka either). It's not about too much - it's about too much that's just okay. As compared to the Netflix shows which were individually brilliant (minus one that was just okay). Before my Disney+ subscription ends, i really need to rewatch those.

At least the new trailer for The Marvels seems to show Fury back in proper form.

Just waiting to see where the next episode gets us to in terms of the larger MCU story.

But as I mentioned in the other thread - there are way too damn many guns in this show for something that's part of the MCU.

And I say that as someone who absolutely loved Daredevil, Luke Cage and The Punisher on Netflix and think they're leaps and bounds above anything that's been made for Disney+. This is the wrong part of the multiverse for gun violence. The MCU has "magical weapons", not real ones.

I don't know. They sure look non-magical when they're shooting people in the head and chest all the time. Especially the shotgun in that last episode. Bang bang bang.
That's my point about the gun violence in this show.

It's not Captain Marvel's photon blasts or Thor with Mjolnir's lightning strikes or Cap throwing his shield, which are all MCU "magical weapons". Guns don't belong in the MCU.

Yeah, sorry. I was semi-agreeing with you by joking about it. I have been surprised because it's pretty brutal for Disney Marvel stuff.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

I beg to differ
