I'm a bit perplexed at having a character who has every superhero power.
Why even? If you've got Captain Marvel powers you don't really need anything else other than maybe shape shifting.
A strength of comic book franchises is you have people with different powers who fill different needs at different times. What is the point of having an all in one character?
Would this be considered a mutation? Is this X-Men related or not at all?

They are called Super-Skrulls, they've been around in the comics since the 60s. They were used as an elite fighting force for the Skrulls, usually in protection of the Skrulls worlds.
They were the genetically modified with the DNA of various superheros. They are not related to the X-Men/Mutants as those are individuals born with the X gene, a mutated gene that gives the individual super powers. Super-Skrulls have been cloned and "grown", so some have been born as Super-Skrulls, but still not related to X-Men/Mutants.
I really liked it, to be honest I could have done less with all the personal life stuff for Nick Fury, but with 6 episodes I enjoyed the build out of characters and the story.
Best part is now the skrulls are back as spy units just like before. So you know you will see them again.
Here is my thing with Rhode being a skrull. This was post the blip, so why did no one notice he did not have the artificial legs from Tony? No one realized he was walking on his own for no reason?? seriously?
