well if you look at the original post and subsequent posts in this thread, people were indicating its opening is part of the Dec 7th event and I simply refuse to believe that's true, thus I wanted an official source on the matter. I agree with Lee that it will not be open until spring, but somehow people are getting this idea that it will be open in December and I was trying to locate the source of that misinformation.

I"m going to guess three seperate places...

1 - Disney PR
2 - some Disney Lifestyler
3 - blogger/podcaster

Of the three, my bet is someone in PR isn't up-to-date with what is happening with construction. It would be to difficult to actually go over and look at the place....

I get that.. but you can't demand an impossible task as a way to prove yourself right.

I said I "heard" that. Not from a CM or anyone involved, but from a friend who went by there and checked it out. They said it looked like they still had a few months of work to do.

Amazing how people can just decide for no reason to create strife....

hrmm.. one would hope when someone relays information.. they would have thought it credible before repeating it without disclaiming it as such?

That might be why there is a bit of conflicting information. What looks like utter chaos to a layman can in reality be a project just a few weeks away from finishing. It is hard to say either way without seeing it first hand.

I'm not the one that made a post indicating that it would be part of the Dec 7th evnts. I asked for proof thinking that maybe Disney released something that I missed. I was merely trying to set the record straight given all the "can't wait to see it when I'm there in December" posts that were happening as a result of the thread. Here, let me make it a little more clear what I was trying to accomplish:

Proof?

This poster clearly indicates he has seen something showing this. I was asking where it was seen or what he saw to give such information. I wasn't demanding proof of something that doesn't exist to prove myself right. I was demanding proof of something someone claims to have seen that's in direct conflict with what anyone with 2 eyes has seen of Splitsville for the last several months. I watch DTD VERY closely and was just trying to discern the truth.
