all who miss the big big cannons at splash mountain say I

did they put in the smaller ones because people were complaining about getting wet or because of the cost??



i've heard many other possibilities also but what is the real reason

I totally Agree with you, I want those Cannons back. I went to Disney in November and I must say I was a little dissapointed. So, "I"

I have some good news!

After the refurbishment in january they made it so it shoots a LOT more water out, and now everybody get's wet, I was there during the refurb and right when it opened I went on, they have it timed so everybody in every boat get's wet now, I got soaked the first time I went on after the refurb.

that makes me happy to know that they have redone it a bit so its a bit stronger cause the old ones were just weak and pitiful

I agree, the small ones barely ever got anyone wet, maybe a tad damp, but hardly anything.

I got drenched. I had been on Splash so many times before and I did not anticipate getting that wet. We went another day when it was really cold out and luckily for us they turned off the cannons.

splash mountain is one of my all time fave rides - i cant wait to get even more soaked from it but i wont wear jeans on it again lets just say it looked as if i was wearing a skirt over my jeans -it went from my knees to the waist.thats just one of the reasons why i love that ride!!!!:lol: :lol:
