I'm almost not even sure which one that is at this point. The one where most things work in a fully realised interior environment.

What if they move the Splash Mountain AA's to Everest once Splash closes down? Instead of the Yeti you get B'rer Rabbit at the end?The Everest queue/set-up is 1000x better than the Splash Mountain one, and I think the exterior is slightly more impressive as well, although the Splash one is still phenomenal.
As for the ride itself? Splash Mountain is a lot better. Everest would be closer if all the original effects were working, but it still wouldn't be at Splash's level.
They’re two of the greatest attractions Disney has ever built and both perhaps the greatest by some standards.2 different rides altogether. I like both. For different reasons. If you compared Space vs Everest or RnR vs Space it' be a little easier. I mean which is the better thrill ride? Everest. Which is the more complete ride? Splash.
We're basically asking "Peter Pan v Imagination".
What if you wet your pants on Everest?Hard comparisons as they're a completely different type of attraction to one another. But as this is a discussion board and we can have fun discussing things, I'll give it a go.
For me Splash is the longer attraction, has more to see and at the end you're not left thinking "That was quick, I'm sad it's over" like you do with most 'roller coasters'. It's an attraction where you're not thinking in the queue that you're waiting for 30 mins for a 2 min ride. The one drawback with Splash however is that you can get very, very wet. I know for some that this can be part of the fun, certainly I enjoy watching other people getting drenched. However the feeling of soggy boxers as I walk around the park isn't something I particularly enjoy and how wet you actually get is a bit of a lottery.
Everest whilst a shorter attraction, probably has more excitement than Splash's one real drop. It's a type of coaster and as such is designed to give a different reaction to the rider. Whilst this next view of mine isn't popular to many on here, I'm not that bothered (if at all) that the Yeti no longer moves. I've seen it in all modes and always felt that you passed it so fast that you couldn't really see much of it and it wasn't the reason I rode the attraction anyway. For me Everest has always been about the speed and the views, the Yeti itself was always a bit meh as you passed it so quickly.
From the two, I'd pick Everest over Splash due to not having to walk around wet after riding. That's a personal choice though I'd say Splash is technically the better ride in bang for your buck, there's far more to see in it and the duration is much longer.
