Splash was evacuated due to a fire alarm today. Still hasn't reopened. Given how close we are to close...do yall think they're just gonna keep it shut down

Splash was up and down last weekend while we were there. Line was huge when the ride was up. We got one last ride on it, so I can say I was one who rode it before closure. But a whole lot was not working on the ride, which was a bit depressing.

Got to ride it one last time yesterday. I was at the park late, and I heard there were issues off and on. Right after the fireworks, the LL was at 10:1, making the 35 minute posted wait 70 minutes. (Pirates had also gone down, after Space and BTMRR went down from what I heard.) Needless to say, the standby line folks were NOT happy. (Though I heard a lot of "It's not your fault" to the CM on the line, who even thanked people for understanding as "not everyone does.")

With that, it was nice to see it one final time - though I'm holding out little hope with current Disney that the redo will live up to it. I hope to be proven wrong vs. Tiana Ever After.

It is. There are a number of reasons the ride might be drained.

Almost certainly. There would likely have to be some sort of exceptional failure for them to just call it quits and close it early.

Who says Disney never gets anything done (like the closure of an attraction) ahead of schedule?

Closing it early would avoid the "Last Day" MOBS.

I just get this feeling they don't want to give it any kind of sendoff. If working, many would be present on the 23rd, I'm sure.
