Splash Mountain Refurb

Unfortunately bruh, I was with my group of coworkers and couldn't go to that cool steakhouse. Ended up going to a place called Claremont Village. We went to a pretty rad pizza place called Pizza & Such & drank some good craft beers with a Carnivore Pizza all to myself.

.
It was a good time considering mickEbruh kicked me to the curb like a non-bruh. ;)

Lol damn bruh. I let you down. I feel terrible. To be fair Pomona is an hour from me with no traffic. But I know, that’s not a good excuse. Plus you were with Your co workers. I’d be the odd bruh out.

It's all good, big lewbruhski. Haha Just busting your balls. You're a busy bruh with wife and kid, so trust me I understand. Tbh, I really didn't get a lot of downtime, it was all mostly business.

Next time we'll round up the bruhs, eat some fat steaks & drink some damn good beer...

Agree, but I'll change that metric to if someone puts it in their top five list - everyone doesn't laugh them out of the room. Because it's clearly so subjective with favourites.

@TROR didn't include Haunted Mansion
@Curious Constance didn't include Indy
@Animaniac93-98 didn't include Splash
@George Lucas on a Bench didn't include the majority of attractions in California.

Splash in California is OK, but it's much better at WDW. I like the things at DLR I can't do in Florida or Paris, or are better.

Huh. Splash at Disneyland is my favorite ride. Even if the WDW iteration is considered to be better, DL Splash is far more than just "meh"
Well it’s better than meh of course but I had to keep my hot take hot. It’s great, of course, but to me it’s not the same. Same with Pirates in the reverse.

Pirates is a clear winner/loser as the attractions are almost identical for the most part and WDW's has missing sequences/features. For Splash, it's much more up in the air as the rides are so different. DL has the faster narrow logs which I prefer as well as the additional scene before the drop which I love. WDW has the brighter more open sets which are great. DL's has the bigger musical score where WDW has the twangy bluegrass style music. The feel of each version is very different.

Now, maintenance-wise, Magic Kingdom clearly wins. Splash has been looking sad for awhile due to OSHA regulations.

I guess for me I find the pacing at WDW and the style/depths of scenes significantly better, but I understand the other side!

As for the maintenance, there’s reason for hope. About 4 years ago WDW’s Splash was quite literally falling apart. A refurb in spring fixed most of those issues and it’s been looking great since. Hopefully the same happens here for DL!
