I wonder if the same cycle happens at all the different sites chat forums? As in people get bored of saying the same things all the time so they just start getting kind of delirious and weird.

It wasn't weird as much as it was extremely scrappy and argumentative. Lots of very contrary folks (trolls) used to hang out there and at times I found it to be unbearable. It got so bad I finally gave up and came here. Compared to LP interacting with fans in the Disneyland forum at WDWMagic is very enjoyable.

That's largely how I remember it too Hans. Of course, my heyday over there was shortly after the opening of DCA and the following years, so there was a lot of pessimism and vitriol in the air.
