It's hard keeping track with all the outrage. Seriously, how can one complain that some people are just overly sensitive then lose your own"excrement" over a corporation changing a ride(which they have a plenty long history of doing for lesser reasons(see TOT in Disneyland).

I did not know this ride needed a boost in popularity.

I get the issues with the movie and why it is thought of the way it is. This though has nothing to do with the movie or anything else it is to make the extremes happy....

Just like removing any shows that have black face on it.. etc.... it is just to many extremes....

So I am guessing Jimmy Kimmel will be done at disney now.... they cannot keep him either.

I think it’s a great move. I’ve never much cared for the IP to begin with, I like the song Zip-a-dee-doo-dah but that’s about it. The ride itself won’t change and will still be fun. If they do it right it might be even better if you can open your mind to it.

also racism arguments aside, song of the south is a really boring and not-good movie with a great song and you’ll usually find that it’s most staunch defenders tend to be the racists using it for political purposes
