It's hard keeping track with all the outrage. Seriously, how can one complain that some people are just overly sensitive then lose your own"excrement" over a corporation changing a ride(which they have a plenty long history of doing for lesser reasons(see TOT in Disneyland).

why did they replace tot in Disneyland? I’m being serious.

Or to not remind tourists of America's painful history of slavery during their vacation. But feel free to stick with your "woke mob" angle if you want to hold on to your sense of entitlement.

Also, who is to say this won't be an improvement?
Disney make something better.... Good one.... Disney make the best ride at Disney better... cute....

Really? You don't see how this ride is infinitely more promotable after a change?

Father: Want to ride Splash Mountain?
Daughter: What's it about?
Father: Oh Brer Rabbit, he has to escape a bear and fox!
Daughter: Who the heck is Brer Rabbit? Maybe.

After Ride Change

Father: Want to Ride (Whatever the name it...maybe it will still be Splash Mountain)
Daugher: What's it about?
Father: Its about the Princess and the Frog
Daughter: Lets do it!
I did not know this ride needed a boost in popularity.

Yep and the NAACP issued a statement against the film without ever having seen it. Look it up.

Well, that's not the case...

White [of the NAACP] had not yet seen the film; his statement was based on memos he received from two NAACP staff members, Norma Jensen and Hope Spingarn, who attended a press screening on November 20, 1946

How is a heavily detailed representation of real African and Asian villages, each with deep backstories, problematic?

Or, like, anything in World Showcase?

Compared to a ride based on a film Disney has been so embarrassed by they haven’t shown it in 30+ years.
YES! Its not authentic! Do we need to remind you what Italy and Germany did during WW2!? Their history is awful and should not have a platform!

You know better then that. Why would this be the one time an overlay is an improvement?

I get the issues with the movie and why it is thought of the way it is. This though has nothing to do with the movie or anything else it is to make the extremes happy....

Just like removing any shows that have black face on it.. etc.... it is just to many extremes....

So I am guessing Jimmy Kimmel will be done at disney now.... they cannot keep him either.

Why are you writing off the opinions of those who don't share your view as "the extremes"? What's extreme about it? Perhaps you should try understanding their point of view first?

Yet here we are in 2020 where a garage door cable is considered racist.
