Not the first time that has happened actually, hopefully the ride was taken down immediately after and fixed before being allowed to run again. Hopefully it's working properly again today.

At least from a video from Feb 8 the ride was looking like it was in good working condition overall. The only broken bits are the water riding turtles in the Laughing Place. They're supposed to bounce up and down on the stream of water and their mouths should move as they laugh, they've been non moving for ages though. But otherwise the rest of the ride still looked fantastic on the 8th. Except for rare cases like the video above and those persistently busted turtles, so far Disney management has done a surprisingly decent job of keeping the ride in good condition. I fully expected the ride to return to pre 2013 conditions by now where everything was falling apart and broken. But as of now it's probably one of the best kept up rides at WDW, particularly given the ride's overall complexity. A somewhat rare glimmer of light these days.

Why is that?
They are collectively an arrogant, immature, egotistical theme park website/group. They berate people who don't agree with their opinions, and the leader of the pack, Robb Alvey, is a 40 year old manchild that treats other people like garbage.

Namely, he has a tendency to call people names for simply disagreeing with them, and his forums have a hive-mind mentality that encourages piling on when Alvey berates and insults someone (at the same time banning said person if they retaliate). He outright bans people from his forums and blocks them from Twitter/Facebook/Youtube if they don't like Maelstrom's treatment with the Frozen overlay.

In addition, he manipulates his members numbers to sell his importance to theme parks for premium access and special treatments (he hires external companies to create thousands of usernames and accounts on his database for this sake). They post between 1-6 times to be considered "active" members, then are abandoned. TPR then uses those "active" accounts to sell their numbers and web site traffic to parks.

He and his ilk give the enthusiast community a bad name, and I don't like seeing his mug as the face of the community.

Hence, why I ask people, when spreading content, if at all possible, to not link to Theme Park Review, which they monetarily benefit from.
