For those of you that know , when will it close for the sink hole problem ? I hope it wont be the estimated 2 months ? Yikes:shrug:

From what I've heard/know, The main reason behind this Splash rehab is to fill in a sinkhole backstage behind Splash...and the maintenance being preformed on the actual attraction is because they are taking advantage of the downtime.

Yes, but not for a sinkhole. Regarding the OP, the MK does have several sinkholes around the south and west corner...

that's right there is funny...that thing is getting so old now, sinking might be a good thing
incidentally, that was my very first roller coaster when i was like 10 years old.....oh my goodness...it's true! i really am 30

Nah, it's just a ploy by Bre'r Fox to try to "flush" Bre'r Rabbit out of hiding.
Seriously though, there isn't anything tunnel-wise under Splash Mountain.

Well they shut it down for a month or 2 around now every year for about the last 3 or 4 years. It's its annual maintenance cycle, nothing unusual really. This is the first I've ever heard tell of a sink hole.

Yes, they have shut it down whenever I've been there lately, this "sinkhole" may be real because they usually don't do rehabs at the same date every year.
